Oakland Raiders Ray Guy made the HOF. Bout damn time!!! YES! And so did Andre Reed, but not Tim Brown. I cannot understand how he has not been elected to the HOF. The voters don't like Raiders? Hmmmm?

My son decided he wanted the Seahawks to win "because blue is my favorite color" Gotta love the logic of 4 year olds!

Happy to I know a lot of you have experienced this before. I haven't. It is such an amazing feeling. It doesn't seem real, like I'm going to wake up any minute and the game's about to start. My head is pounding, my voice is toast, my mouth is dry, I'm exhausted, I can still taste the cigarettes and whiskey...and I've never felt better. Go Hawks.

You dominated (which made it boring for those of us that were pretty neutral), but I'm sure it was fun for all the Hawks fans. At least the lights didn't go out after the run back for a touchdown.

Parade today was insane. Estimates are that 700,000 lined the streets for the parade. Century Link Field was filled for a rally afterwards, and Safeco Field across the street was filled with fans watching the rally on the stadium's display screen. I was online for hours last night trying to get a pass for that before it filled up. Didn't even get close to the stadium area today.

I saw pics on FB from a couple friends of mine, I hope y'all had as much fun as I remember having at my first Pats parade - the 2nd time they won. I was still in NOLA for the parade the first time around. I'm jealous that you both got to go to the FIRST! parade, that's just awesome

The NFL ruled that the Steelers will not loose a draft pick for Tomlin impeding Jacoby's run. What a surprise.
They should have had to swap picks at some point in the draft. This leaves the door open for more of this "accidental interference". I wonder how many coaches will take a fine if it helps their team win (especially in important games). Big fail on the part of the NFL.

Jets signed Michael Vick, and released Mark Sanchez today.

well, the schedule's out.
My Packers have 5 night games. Including the season opener in Seattle. I was hoping to face Seattle later in the season not week 1. Oh well.

And the Raiders aren't playing anywhere near me - not even during Exhibition I was hoping they would at least play the Texans in Houston. I could make that game - long drive but doable!!!

So you're the unlucky ones. Seahawks have four national games this season. Only one of those is at home, the opener against Green Bay. What is funny is that the reason that was given for the Seahawks to only get one national home game is because they blow everyone out so the games are uncompetitive. Costs the network and the league in TV ratings.

That is a stupid reason and not fair to the Seahawks in my opinion. At least you get to host the opener though. We had Keith Urban floating in the Inner Harbor instead of a home opener last year.

Yeah, the football forum I visit (profootballtalk.com) has people pointing out that the Saints and Pats have been blowing people out for years and they haven't had this happen to them.

not entirely true. in the past few years the Pats have lost their late-season night games when the opponent turned out to suck way more than the schedulers figured on, by the time the game rolled around.

Yay, the stupid, horrible mock drafts are over for another year. For sure!! The talking heads were about to drive me crazy. And I guess I can say the SEC kicked a@@ in the 1st round. Now I'm ready for some Pro Football. August is a long ways off
