It's your lucky year. Bears don't have to come to Seattle unless you make the playoffs. Enjoy your regular season. The regular season should be great for the Bears, but their defense seems to be unable to stuff the offensive team for the 2nd and 3rd quarters, giving up big plays and points. They have Drew Brees and the Saints in a couple of weeks, and that will tell how good (or bad) they actually are New coach, new offensive and defensive schemes, still working the kinks out. At least Cutler has some protection this year, with two rookies on the line, and they have added another receiver that can burn anyone in the league to go with Marshal. Bears still have to get over the emotional hump of dominating the Packers at Green Bay before accomplishing a big move in the play offs. Wilson tore them apart last year. He exploded against them last year, and has not looked back since then. He is a keeper. What he did to the 49'ers last week was great. Or at least I thought it was until what Indy did to the 49'ers yesterday...........

Wow, Rodgers was not looking good. The Steelers are a mess and it is quite enjoyble. Tallguy, don't get ahead of yourself. I like the Seahawks and they look great, but anything can happen in the playoffs. Talk about cocky! Look what cockiness is getting the 49ers.

I wouldn't say the Seahawks are cocky...confident is more like it.
Yeah, it comes across as cockiness (especially Sherman) but they back it up (especially Sherman.)

Nalto, I haven't seen enough of the Seahawks to call them cocky. I was referring to tallguy's attitude. I actually really like Russell Wilson and his attitude.

I was just giving Value Buy a bad time because of last year's game. As he said, Wilson tore them up last year. Fourth-quarter comeback and won in overtime. And that was before he had really matured as a quarterback (and was on the road.) I still like the Bears defense but it's tough to see Melton go down. He's a good player. And Trestman was a good choice too, I think. It'll be interesting to see how the offense develops.

He's a great young man with a terrific attitude and work ethic. Refreshing to see. Totally agree. The Seahawks will have a challenge on the road at Texas next game. On another note, Jacoby Jones was hit over the head with a bottle of expensive bottle of liquor by a stripper named "Sweet Pea" on a party bus. They were celebrating Bryant Mckinnie's birthday. What knuckleheads!

The party bus thing was just stupid. I saw something later where the stripper claimed she was only a waitress and she didn't physically assault him. One of the guys in that group was also involved in the Vikings Love Boat debacle.

One of the guys in that group was also involved in the Vikings Love Boat debacle. McKinnie is on his way out. His contract was written with weight incentives and he hasn't made them. The guy will never change. We traded for Eugene Monroe who is a huge upgrade. It is a good thing too because Joe is getting killed. He is one tough dude.

Seahawks are looking good! Well, our O-line still stinks. Should be an interesting match up with the equally bad Steelers. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost that one. Come on Ravens, get it together! I'm used to you guys being in first place. This is killing me.

Did this turn into my own personal football blog? As I was saying... ... okay it's official. The Ravens suck! Luck looked good last night, the Broncos looked sloppy.

I think the Seahawks will only get better. The offense has been shaky, but with the O-Line coming back to full strength, and the addition of Percy Harvin, watch out...

My Packers can't stay healthy/well/uninjured. Finley's got movement though, so that's a good sign.

Brady is a fantasy disaster this year for me. Of course about the time I start Flacco, he'll quit posting solid 10+ points per week.

Finley's up and moving. Yay! I'm sure his wife and kids are happy about that. And James Jones is getting closer to coming back. We'll definitely have him for Chicago. Not sure if we'll have him (or need him) against the Vikings. And DH said he heard something about how Greg Jennings is thinking he make a mistake signing with the Vikings....

Tallguy, I wouldn't say it is the dumbest article ever, but it is really dumb. I feel bad for Bradford. Seattle is going to tear up the Rams, in my humble opinion. I'm glad that Finley is moving. Wvu, please I beg you, don't jinx Flacco! We have a lot of problems and he is not one of them.

Tallguy, there's a lot of ifs there...IF the Rams sign Tebow, and IF he actually plays, and IF they keep it close for him to do something...
I'll give credit where credit's due, the Rams DLine COULD pose a problem for our OLine, but our D should manhandle them...

I thought with Gronk being back, Brady would be better. I was wrong. I didn't start Flacco because I thought it would be a defensive battle with the Steelers.

Well, he DID make a mistake signing with the Vikings. The Packers weren't going to bring him back at the contract number he wanted, particularly when they had an emerging star like Randall Cobb to replace him. But if you feel that you have to leave your team to get paid, at least go a team that can get you the ball. Ponder is not the guy to do that. I don't think he will ever be a good starting QB in the NFL.

If you consider that they would not only have to get him in town and work him out, decide whether to sign him, give him a crash course in the offense, get him ready to start a game with teammates that he is still learning their names, and design a game plan that he can execute, all in four days? Yeah, it is that dumb. They have a backup quarterback. Not a particularly good one, but one that has started in the league before and actually knows the offense. The idea that bringing Tebow in is going to make ANY team, much less one with the best record in the NFC that is led by their defense, tremble is beyond laughable.

Well, it wasn't pretty, even with beer goggles, but we got the win.
The OLine needs to get their $#!T together, quick.

Actually I haven't. I've been pretty much offline for the last 4+ days. I'd heard via my husband that Finley's stated he wants to keep playing and his family is NOT happy about that decision.
