Emhalf & Nickyleey (and any others) who are looking for a good deal on ALLYOU subscriptions:- I am waiting for my daughter's fundraiser magazine subscription magazine to come in which I expect to be soon and I will let you know the deal. Last year, it was $18/- for a 2 year subscription for ALLYOU. Quite a deal, huh? Altho my subscription isn't up for renewal for another year but if it is still $18/- this year, I will be 'stockpiling' on it too. Any one of you is a member of the saving club at COUPONS.COM? Is it worth it for $3/- a month? Will be glad to know of your experiences.

HOUND ALERTFinish powerball or gelpac 0.75/1 from the 8/31 SS The deal is at CVS 9/11-9/17. It is part of a group of household products as lysol, woolite, resolve and airwick that when you buy $20 you get $10 in ECB's I think this may be another regional coupons because I didn't get it in mine. Or I just live in the land of crappy coupons. Thanks to anyone who can help.

CVSADDICT: HAPPY BIRTHDAY Suzi: Sorry to hear of your health situation but hoping you have a swift recovery and take care of yourself. Oh to go to Hawaii. That is on my bucket list. I have no desire to go oversees anywhere but have always wanted to go to Hawaii for about a month with no financial restrictions!!! Like that will ever happen. Sorry to say I have no friends living in Hawaii. However, glad you got to visit with your family. What a mess with no power. One worker set that whole mess off with one mistake. That's not good. Checked my Q's and only had one $1 Mitchum so stopped at WAGS today after my haircut and got one at least, 2 skinny cow treats (BOGO Q) and a feminine product and used 2 $1.50 RR's, $1 Mitchum Q and the BOGO and spent $3.45 and got back a $2 RR. Happy me. I don't expect to always get things for Free but cheap is nice. Beautiful day here in Northern Michigan!!!!!

Constanz,
Wow! I am glad you are ok! ---- I have to share something that only YOU, my fellow hounds, could understand. The husband and I are moving into our own house - which is really nice after 4 1/2 yrs of renting. However, I am seriously freaking out inside because I will be leaving my Wags, RA and Sfwy behind. Waaaaah! These stores were so close to our rental house. We are moving one exit away on the freeway, so it's not like we're moving to outer space. But, now I won't be able to dash out to grab deals. And I'll really have to think it through and plan to make the deals worth it. The past month I've actually gone a bit crazy making sure to grab every single deal so this way if I can't justify doing future deals, I'll be so well stocked, I won't mind. But, nonetheless, I am sad! I can't believe there's no Wags or RA near my house. Ok, sadness vent over.

While I was at Dollar General today, I spotted some tearpad coupons. I got $.50 Country Crock, $.75/2 Knorr Rice and $2.00/ M&M+3 other items.

Distance is always a consideration when hounding. It is why I really don't shop much at RA (it's across town). I would go there for a huge MM but not for something that is free that I already have plenty of in my stockpile and not for one or two of something. I have WAGs, CVS, Safeway, and Nob Hill close by and I rarely run out just to do a deal unless it is a HUGE MM. Depending on how well stocked your stores are, making a run on Sunday mornings might be the best strategy; but only you will know for sure.

retailmenot - do any of you use this site? I've decided that I won't use any coupons or discounts found through the site. Why? Since many of the coupon codes and printable coupons are user submitted, they aren't authorized by the retailer themselves. The store I work in, for example, only provides IPQ's to people on their mailing list and has a "do not distribute" statement on the coupon... yet they're showing up on this website. That's the kind of abuse that causes companies to shy away from offering coupons. People who do a google search for coupons are getting directed to this site and aren't paying attention to the fact that they might not be valid coupons. I then look like a jack@ss for refusing to honor the coupon...because it's fraudulent.

Hello Ladies, its been a while. I've been hounding here and there this slow summer. CVS has been good to me, Staples has been good to me but Wags not so much. I've been meaning to check back in a narrate my Sat CVS-shopping adventures but after a long day (I do everything on Sat....plan, clip, shop...its an all day event) I get exhausted and my busy week starts again on Sunday. Dancinmama, I still hear your "slow down" advice you gave me whenever I let the rush of a good deal(s) go to my head......I tend to start making mistakes/spending more, so that advice still pops up...umm....occasionally Frugalsuz, for a busy gal like me, your weekly deal posts is a time & money saver. I did the Gas card deal one week that had the Aussie products (using BIGI Q) mostly because I saw it on your blog. I guess I still feel like I don't have much to add since by the time I get home at 11pm, any new hot deal info has already been shared and nobody is really around posting at midnight. But what I completely forgot about is coupon sharing, I can definitely do that so I will make an effort to check in for Hound Alerts. I don't need Pets Qs, Baby Qs and now with 973beachbum alert, I remembered to add Dishwasher Qs to the list. I got a great deal with Chicago Tribune, so I get 6 papers per Sunday starting from May and will be until the end of Feb. When I think of all the wasted Baby/Pets Q, I want to smack myself for not remembering, forgive me Responding to hounds: If I have these Qs: 973beachbum : I can get you 6 Finish powerball Qs and 6 Playtexs. Its too late for the Carefree, yes? pudgybunny: I can print, but can you explain the scan part a bit. Where is the BOGO Q? Is it too late for the $2/1 Purina Beyond One? dancimamaa: Dominick's & Safeway are the same, yes? If so, I can get you some Mott coupons. I think I have 5 booklets right now and the Dominick's I went to on Wed still had a lot of booklets. Let me know.

HOUND ALERT - IP Coupon if you can print and scan it. It seems to only print once. Please message me for my email if you don't have it already! It is for $1 off Johnsonville Sausage patties. If anyone has any of the BOGO coupons left from a while ago and isn't going to use them if you could scan and e-mail those as well! let me know if there is anything you want back! Here is the direct link for the coupon - coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=OZZF2WDZTYY3A TIA!! pudgybunnyI just printed from the link and the Q says $1.00 off 1 32oz package of Johnsonville Brat and Italian Burger. Is that correct and how many do you want? I can guarantee 2, then maybe another 2 if I can get into another laptop.

Dancinmama, I still hear your "slow down" advice you gave me whenever I let the rush of a good deal(s) go to my head......I tend to start making mistakes/spending more, so that advice still pops up...umm....occasionally picghaw: I'm so glad to see you post again!! ;D Regarding reminding people to "slow down" - I'm glad SOMEONE appreciates my nagging cuz DH sure doesn't. In all seriousness though, it has become clear to me from discussions on other threads about using coupons that people really do not fully understand the strategies that we implement to get the products we use for free or for pennies on the dollar. A LOT of it relies on the fact that we patiently wait for the very best deals before we stockpile. The other strategy that I have been using A LOT lately is the use of RAIN CHECKS. CVS has Kraft Parmesan Cheese this week for $2.47 (sale ends today). The last time that they had it on sale at CVS (which is not very often) it was $2.99. I got a rain check today for half a dozen and am hoping for some type of generic Kraft cheese coupon to pair with it before I redeem it. ;D

I got a rain check at CVS when they were on sale for $1.67/6 pk. and with the Qs, I can get them for $.67/6 pk. Do you have my snail mail addie? I'll PM it to you just in case. THANK YOU and please let me know if there is anything that I can send in return. ;D

I was thinking about the slow down advice also lately. Thanks for the reminder Picghaw! I really don't have that many places to shop and CVS having deals tied to my card maybe helps me by forcing me to think and only be able to get 1 or 2 of something. I just gets me to think really hard about spending 2 or 3 bucks on something I just bought a bunch of for 44 cents and don't really need any more of. So maybe saying no thank you to some deals and coupons is part of the lesson. Kind of like not taking that second helping at dinner just because someone offers it to me. I am not very good at that either.

Hopefully before you get to that point, you can restock for less than $2 or $3.

I got a rain check today for half a dozen and am hoping for some type of generic Kraft cheese coupon to pair with it before I redeem it. ;D I knew there was something else I forgot.....another karma for this tidbit of info. I used that for four weeks to get deals at CVS for next to nothing. I did have fun for 4 weeks at CVS....a BIG karma to you for this. Since CVS is always OOS I remember that for most of the month of June, I would roll into CVS at 9.45pm on Sat, get rainchecks for all the free after ECB items (thanks to your advice) and so when CVS decided to send me $10off$50 CRT as well as $5off$25or $30 via email in the same week, for 4 weeks.....it was heaven. Lets just say that I went from $45 ECBs in June to ....$88ECB+$20 ECB from Beauty Club+$40 in Gas Cards at the end of Aug. If you remember, we had Zyrtec $5MM, John Freida Monthly $5MM, John Freida $7MM, Lumene Skin Care Monthly $5MM and also other free or less than $1 deals like Oral-B toothbrushes, Razors, Motrin, Bayer, Revlon, Pantene with CSV & MFR Q etc. I always paired the free/MM Raincheck items with a $30 Gas Card week deals in which there were Qs that took the total down by half, then the $10off$50 wiped the remaining balance, so I'd end up paying $ECBs with tax and then get $10 Gas card plus ECBs for free/MM items. Example of trans 1: Dove 12 @ $3 = 36 Revlon 2 @ 5.79 = $11.58 (raincheck) Bayer 1 @ 3 = 3.00 (raincheck) --------- 50.58 - $10off$50 - 6 BIGI Dove - $2/1 Bayer - 2 $2/1 Revlon = $16.58 = Paid 16 in ECBs, Got back $10 Mobil GC, $6 ECB Revlon, $1 ECB Bayer, $5 Dove ECB for the following week sales(double dip)and later that week $5 ECB from Beauty Club. Another one was : Example of trans 1: Aussie 12 @ 2/4.98 = $29.88 John Frieda (I think) 3 items(6,6,8) = $20 (raincheck) Filler : 33 cents --------- 50.19 - $10off$50 - 6 BIGI Aussie Qs - 3 $5/1 John Frieda = $10.27 = Paid 10 in ECBs, Got back $10 Mobil GC, $10 ECB John Frieda and later that week $5 ECB from Beauty Club. For the $5off$25 or $30, I just did the Lumene + something that was Free after ECB to absorb the $5 Q, and the I got the ECBs without having to pay anything but tax. Oh and apparently all ECBs generated for rainchecks ring up as "CVS coupon" as opposed to "CVS MFR coupon" and all "CVS coupons" cut into the sub-total ergo less taxes. Thanks dancinmama!

Those are some nice coupons RubySlippers! DancinMama,Ya know the hardest thing is just that I enjoy the thrill of the chase with getting the deals. So I'll miss my ability to do that so easily. But, I really do have plenty of stuff, so it's time to focus on the house. And it needs a lot of attention! ReneeJune,My sister told me about that website, but I never found it useful, so no, I haven't ended up using it. That's too bad that there's fraud involved. It's very hard to control IPs once they are out there. NAGSo we got the keys to our house today (yaaaaaay!) But I tell ya, when I got over there, I was sort of stymied as to where to begin. The whole place needs cleaning, top to bottom. It's a good thing I got paper towels recently at a good price. I thought I might have to use paper towels and not just regular towels, because there's just too much cleaning to be done. But, my fun thing to share is that there's a room just behind the garage. It's technically a bedroom. However, when we first walked through the house and I saw this small room with built in shelving, I, of course, thought "Stockpile Room!" Fortunately DH agrees!

Hi picghaw! I will take as many as you can get! Do you have a scanner? One nice thing with internet coupons is you scan them and email them to me and you destroy the original. Only one coupon with that code is out there so no coupon fraud happens. I sent you a message with my email! No worries about the Purina coupon. Thanks though!

Yeah, I know you're actually not that into shopping, ironically enough! But I do enjoy seeing a deal posted, then going out & getting it. It's fun for me. But obviously, I'll have to find some new fun. Unfortunately, I would much rather shop for deals than scrub down a house! Yeah - I even took a pic of the room - I might post it so you all can vicariously enjoy my stockpile room lol!

picghaw I would be happy to take any extra pet Q's you have. I have 2 dogs and a cat and am not brand picky on any of their food/treats/litter, etc. I am actually getting pretty low on all my pet food as I've had to take quite a break from hounding between surgery and the floods. TIA. I will pm you my addy. Please let me know if there is anything you need.

If you have extras, I could also use the Vlassic Pickle Q. I have a rain check for (10) jars of ANY Vlassic pickle for $1 (at CVS). ;D The MDA booklet is the first one that my Safeway seems to not have gotten. I sure hope this is not a trend, because using the random Qs from the Safeway booklets has saved me over $100 this year alone. Think the $1/1 Chex Mix Q from a few months ago - it was a MM at both WAGs and RA. A professional organizer, hmmm. I really try my best to keep my stockpiles organized, but I think everyone gets in a hurry now and then causing them to get "a little messy". I ALWAYS make sure that I rotate food products though, regardless of how big a hurry I might be in to get them put away so that I can use them FIFO. I'll bring the ritas and drive right over to help you out.

Yeah, I know you're actually not that into shopping, ironically enough! I do love a great deal though. I used to like to shop when I was younger; but the older I've gotten, the less I like it.

leanna - congrats on the new house. Great to see that you will even have your own stockpile room
constanz - good to see that you are doing fine even with the flood. Hopefully you are taking it slow.
rubyslippers - the 2 Ups on the CF - is one weekly and one monthly
beachbum - yes. Tax kills us here also. So a deal sometimes may not be a deal if you take tax into account. Nowadays, I am looking at the tax and if it's close to 2$(WYB 30$) , then I skip the deal unless I have to buy the item.

Good morning!! Just wanted to let you all know that the deal at CVS on the Air Wick I-motion kit ($4.99 each) Buy $20.00 get a $10.00 EB is giving the EB with only buying the 4 total of $19.96 use (4) $4.00 coupons from today's inserts total of $3.96 get back $10.00 EB profit $6.04. Also, my store did not have 4 of the I-motion so they let me get some of the oil kits which were also $4.99 and said if the coupon doesn't beep they will let it through because clearly the coupon is not for the oil kits. Needless to say the coupon went right through. Have a great day everyone!!!
