UPDATE

Hi ladies! I've just scheduled the FINAL payment of DH's student loans. WOOT! (Finally!) So here is my update:

In celebration, I'm going to.....add our vehicle loan.

Actually, I'm going to remove our mortgage and replace it with the vehicle loan. (We're not really "racing" the mortgage anyways, and we're planning on moving in the next 1-2 years.)

So, my "new" race is:

megaptera: 10/22/2014 $8,424.00 (10/22/2014 $8,424.00)

I'm hoping to be finished with it by end of 2016. Our old car died recently (sooner than we planned), so this is a new loan. Ugh, we were thisclose to being debt-free except for mortgage.

WIRR consolidated thread to launch in the next couple of weeks

Within the next couple of weeks, I will be locking the threads for the individual regions and going live with the consolidated threads. There will be two new threads: one for discussion, posting updates, asking questions, etc.; and a separate thread where the captains will be posting the smiley updates. The captains for the consolidated boards are: Minnesotagirl7, jdnstl, LaramiK, speechchick71, urdoingit, and idlechatter.

Please be patient with us for the first few weeks after we launch the new threads. Let us know if we miss anything or if you have suggestions for improvement.

While it’s a bit of a bummer that our numbers have dropped and we’re going back to being one big happy WIRR family, this is also a great opportunity to get to know other racers, learn new tips & tricks, and maybe even get a new perspective on your race.

Sealy you have really made some fantastic progress over the past couple of years.

I have been lurking here to keep myself motivated and get my EF filled to where it is supposed to be before I raided it to pay for my surgery.  Today as I was doing my "first of the month money stuff" I realized only two more payments and I will be done.  Thank you all for being so inspiring.
