Personally (and this is based on absolutely NO scientific evidence, whatsoever), I think at tiny portion of the population are born with a genetic cluster F%&* that is just waiting for the right "trigger" to activate an extreme immunilogical response that causes all h#$l to break loose. And for some individuals, a vaccination may do it.
My uncle has RSD (response sympathetic dystrophy, I think). It was dormant until he broke his foot (for some people, a shot or pin prick can be the trigger). Now, he has extreme pain to any touch. It was just his foot at first, but it has spread up his leg and into the other. He now has an implanted morphine pump.
His experience does not mean that everyone should be wrapped in bubble wrap and all surface be cushy just in case.
I also stand by my assertion that the "explosion" in autism rates is due to the fact that the definition now includes everyone who blinks an odd number of times per minute instead of even.

I would have too, who knows what else she would have been bull-headed on. I've had PITA moments with my job vs vaccinations so personally I am just going by the schedule because it's easier and then it is all done with. I never really asked. It's the schedule DH were on and minus a couple of vaccinations she's getting pretty much all the ones I did and I am still standing. Mentally healthy is a different subject.

The Flu kills about 39,000 people annually in the US every year. Talk about playing russion roulette.

Are you paying attention Jenny McCarthy? Jenny McCarthy has been pwned! (I've been looking for an opportunity to try out that emoticon!)

Not a huge, life-threatening fall, but she did injure her knee. Now she's in CHRONIC pain. It hasn't dissipated, even all these years later.
