I listen to all this-- poor people DIE in this country crap.... I always knew it was false. Why, because I am a cab driver-- I drove welfare contracts...... saw the abuse.. it made me crazy angry mad....
Then I got hurt.. heard blahblahblahblahblah...
Since I was out of work, after a LIFETIME of paying in, I applied... when the state of AZ inquired of me as to my need... Yes.. evil Arizona. I am horribly and wonderfully proud.. but fear made me accept their offer of care.
Today I saw a doctor, for the first time since I got hurt and broke my bones with no insurance..

SO-- I get to this doctor.. with my broken pelvis and elbow... and my walker.. expecting to be treated bad.... welfare... This man was SO nice to me. He checked me out real good, listened to every word I said... waved me off when I said I am sorry I was on AHCCS because I know they pay less than medicaid.. he waved at me and told me "it is okay, do not worry, we will get you well"...

He was from India, I think.. I felt terrible giving him my history.. 2 divorces... but he treated me with the UTMOST respect.

After listening to me, he wrote perfect orders for me-- did not miss one word I said-- sent me for X-rays on my shoulder, wrist, elbow, and pelvis.... I had several X rays, then several more.. then was told they need to compare my Xrays now to when I got hurt, way back in March..

The doc gave a script for anti-inflammatory, because I am having pain, pretty bad pain, in my wrist and shoulder from the elbow break...
The pelvis is healing great.. elbow is up in the air, but nothing alarming.... I will wait to hear from my new MD.. who wants me to get some physical therapy on the arm...

I had excellent care today, and I am poor, a working person out of work.,. from serious injuries.. and my STATE helped me, with their already in place medical plan-- no Obamacare involved here.. not in AA hubba bubba Burnsie bear coochie-coo. worst state ever... right?? Racist?? Evil?? Right?? You guys are wrong about your Obamacare. I am proof.

You have a painful problem... but not a life threatening one (as in you will not drop dead of it tomorrow...) SO... if you had, had a life threatening condition, would you have lasted the months it took you to qualify for the GOVERNMENT program you had to access in order to access care?

If you have NO income you get care for free. If you make $1500/mo, you go to the ER, the most expensive care possible, and then get your credit ruined when you can't pay. Or lose all your assets and go bankrupt. Or you're really proud and just die... BRILLIANT!! DOES make people give up and go on welfare to get care- which costs a lot more than giving poor workers health care and make them pay something, for much cheaper family doctor, preventive care, or clinics. If you had gone to a doctor first, it would have been cheaper.... We're going to get an intelligent SYSTEM, get it? Glad you got some civilized help dear, love ya. I had a 38 year old woman bartender friend who reminds me of you. Had diabetes and no health care. Got sick of going to ER to get pieces of her feet cut off, couldn't pay. DIED. Absolutely horrible... |

OBAMACARE is a LIE!!!! You received care funded by your state which in turn receives federal dollars to support your care. How long did you wait while you were in pain because you had no insurance? I HAD no assets!! Day to day pay-- survival mode.. like MANY tax paying Americans that are not on welfare!!!!!! LOOK what happens when we get hurt!! We don't die?? We get quality medical care!!
