Is there anyone who doesn't think this guy was wrong? I have yet to see one single attempted defense of his actions. Did the general population of the USA just unanimously agree on something?? I don't think anyone denies that there are bad cops out there, just like there are bad members of any profession. And bad cops, like this guy, should be taken off the street.
But just because this cop is bad, doesn't mean that all or most cops are bad, conversely, just because most cops are good doesn't mean all are.
But this cop is a bad cop, so I take no issue with his forced retirement.

This one should get your motor going this morning , OldCoyote - I annoyed me quite a bit. Georgia sheriff, deputies indicted after body searches of 900 high school studentsThe sound system squawked at 8 a.m., just as the school day was revving up at Worth County High School. The campus was now on lockdown, the announcement said. Neither the teachers nor students at the south Georgia school knew what was going on. For the next four hours, 40 uniformed officers — the entire staff of the Worth County Sheriff’s Office — fanned through the school in Sylvester, ordering students against the walls of classrooms and hallways, demanding the kids hand over their cellphones. All 900 students were searched, part of a drug sweep ordered by Sheriff Jeff Hobby. He did not have a warrant. He had a “target list” of 12 suspect drug users. Only three of the names were in school that day, April 14. By noon, when cells phones were handed back and classes resumed, no drugs had been found. The sheriff’s full-court press, however, would yield legal consequences — for Hobby and his office. In the days following the sweep, students came forward charging they had been inappropriately groped and manhandled by deputies. A class-action federal civil suit followed. Woo-Hoo! Thanks for the update! ( This is not the full story:) "Salt Lake City Police Chief Mike Brown made the decision to fire Detective Jeff Payne after an internal investigation found he violated department policies when he arrested nurse Alex Wubbels and dragged her screaming from the hospital, department spokesman Sgt. Brandon Shearer said." "Brown said in a disciplinary letter that he was "deeply troubled" by Payne's conduct, which he described as "inappropriate, u reasonable, unwarranted, discourteous, disrespectful" and said brought "significant disrepute" on the department. "You demonstrated extremely poor professional judgment (especially for an officer with 27 years of experience), which calls into question your ability to effectively serve the public and the department," Brown wrote." "Payne's supervisor, Lt. James Tracy, was demoted to officer." "Your lack of judgment and leadership in this matter is unacceptable, and as a result, I no longer believe that you can retain a leadership position in the department," Brown said." I couldn't agree more.

You elected him: "Law enforcement officials around the country have made similar arguments that addressing civil rights violations in a department would interfere with legitimate police functions. U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has expressed disdain for federal consent decrees and the idea of police reform more broadly, drawing pushback from activists who say that the efforts benefit civilians and cops alike. Although Albuquerque’s consent decree is a court-ordered agreement, meaning Sessions can’t unilaterally roll it back, his tone doesn’t make the process any easier. “ I believe the Trump administration and Jeff Sessions are going to do whatever they can to gut any further civil rights investigations of police misconduct,” Dinelli said. “Over the next four years, as long as Trump and Sessions are in office, we won’t see another consent decree.”"

Just because I voted for Trump does not mean that I agree with all of his policies,
In fact there are a lot of things that Trump does that I don't like!
In fact I don't care if what I post is not in line with the so called party line! I post thing based on my thoughts.
Unlike most on the liberal side of the discussion that have to open up your "Official Liberal Party Line Guide" to decide what your stance is!
With that said, Trump is still better than the BITCH!,, I mean Hillary!
