France is a giant Gun Free Zone. And, they opened the floodgates to illegal immigration. Obama wants to import 10,000 Syrians. It's not rocket science. So, you carry your gun with you when you go out to dinner? When you go out for drinks? When you go to a Lady Gaga concert? When you go to a football game? When you go to a basketball game? How about when you go grocery shopping or church? Yo never know when an Islamic terrorist is going to jump out at you.
I don't. But, I know lots of people who do.

Where did i say that French people should carry a gun? "France is a Giant Gun Free Zone" meaning that French people are not allowed to carry weapons. Given what just happened, you are of the opinion that the should! It's called "deductive reasoning" and one easily arrives at that conclusion based on the history and content of your postings.

I think it is a fair criticism to point out Obama's "Isis is Contained" comments the morning of the tragedy. Duh. Kinda like Bush's "Mission Accomplished". Right?

I don't think there is much defense against a lunatic in a suicide vest... with a death wish.
They blew themselves up....Only one was shot before blowing himself up.
Armed police were there straight away.....and they couldn't be stopped.

why? there is no evidence that the refugees have anything to do with the problem. I disagree most of them are migrants not refugees. I know we should keep them out but Washington doesn't have the strength to do the right thing. If there were that many that object to ISIS in Syria, why don't they take up arms against them there? (Hint: it's bc most AREN'T refugees and don't give a damn about Syria)

IF ISIS is such a small percentage of the Muslim population, then why can't the Muslims defeat ISIS themselves? They complain if the U.S. gets involved in Muslim countries and they complain if we don't. We're damned if we do and damned if we don't. Let's just put it squarely on their plate.

I am watching the ABC Evening News.
Apparently, we are, at this very moment, bombing the hell out of ISIS territory.

If and when the noose begins to tighten around the necks of ISIS and other similar groups, I imagine there will be more frequent assaults on cities like Paris. Make the populace fear you.
It is going to get worse before it gets better. Desperate times will call for desperate measures.

Kinda like Bush's "Mission Accomplished". Right? Except one of those was Yesterday. And in 14 years so will the other. What is your point?

I agree with you but also think we should acknowledge that many immigrants who have come to the U.S. come in the wake of wars we were involved in (Vietnam, Korea, now Syria) and that mixed feelings towards their new country are somewhat to be expected. Then don't come

Why not? You don't, but think the French people should? After all, a terrorist could strike, any time, anywhere.
Where did i say that French people should carry a gun? I would think that's rather obvious. Why did you feel it necessary to say "France is a Giant Gun-Free Zone?" What was the point of that? Clearly, you have an issue with "gun-free." Perhaps you forgot what you wrote?

Because it is an important point. Just as it is an important point that Schools are gun free zones as well. Makes for a much easier target.

Oh, and yes I do clearly have an issue with "gun free" zones. If politicians get to have the option to protect themselves and their families with guns, then so should everyone else.

Yes, because 500 armed people at a Heavy Metal event, drinking and no doubt doing drugs, is a Really Good Idea! What could possibly go wrong?

The band's name is a play on words. They don't play heavy metal.

While that all sounds great and gnarly and stuff..... the cops won't let you in with a gun here either......
Regardless of what Ted Nugent's views may be, you can't carry at his show either.
So as much fun as packing heat while doing XTC or whatever in the mosh pit may be, it ain't happening. I am guessing the cost to insure a venue that holds thousands of drunk, gun-toting music fans would drive up the ticket prices a bit.

The band's name is a play on words. They don't play heavy metal. Well, whatever they play, it's still a concert, with young people, drugs and booze.
