More death brought to us by Bush Cheney. Bush did it!!! When in doubt, always try to make political hay out a tragedy.

France is a giant Gun Free Zone. And, they opened the floodgates to illegal immigration. Obama wants to import 10,000 Syrians. It's not rocket science.

There is plenty of blame to go around in regards to how and why all this happens. The very base of it is greed be it financial/economical power or political. But what I see being passed as "opinions" above, are no better. Who are "we", the American people? If it were to get rid of those that don't fit or refuse to follow the trend of what is perceived as "national" who would that be? How do you establish that THIS ot THAT is how it should be?
Culturaly, we are everything: we celebrate Christmas, Hannuckah, Kwanza, Rammadam, Diwaly, etc. On the same list you can add St Patrick, Cinqo de Mayo, Thanksgiving and so on. So the question remains: who stays and who goes?
Do you agree with one walking on the street with a firearm hanging on the side but disagree with one that doesn't allow his children to eat pork?
Do not pass judgement on one if you do not want judgement passed onto you because you may not like the results. Talking and blaming is cheap! Those of you that advocate the expulsion of those that "do not integrate", I have a question for you: how many times, how many individuals or families did you help integrate? Have you at least tried it once? How would you expect one to understand what is the "normal" if you don't show them what exactly that is? Which begs the question again: WHAT is normal?

I think it is a fair criticism to point out Obama's "Isis is Contained" comments the morning of the tragedy. Duh.

We are leaderless. Our leaders just don't seem to care so much when the common man gets blown away while having dinner. They are more concerned that it "looks" like they are doing something to stop the radicals than actually doing something to stop them. The elites will fly away with body parts intact.

What do you suggest our leaders do?

Because it's a worldwide war on the West. that is not precisely true. for example, you don't see terrorist attacks against Poland or Sweden. there are, of course, reasons for this.

i can tell by this thread that nobody posting here has read "Dying To Win".
it is a marvelous achievement of whitewashing and propaganda by our loving government that keeps us from understanding what is happening. it takes some real effort, in an age where information is so readily available, to keep people from it.
and our profound ignorance on the subject will ensure many years of suffering and fear for all concerned.

So, you carry your gun with you when you go out to dinner? When you go out for drinks? When you go to a Lady Gaga concert? When you go to a football game? When you go to a basketball game? How about when you go grocery shopping or church? Yo never know when an Islamic terrorist is going to jump out at you.

Tragic...what a crazy world we live in. Unfortunately, I think there will be more of this. I know. I know the average Achmed just wants to live a normal life and provide for his family. But there are a billion plus Muslims, if only one per cent are radical extremists...that is a whole lot of millions of people potentially doing unconscionable things. Can't someone tell them that there really aren't 72 virgins waiting for them in Allah paradise...besides, virgins are so over rated. Ok, sorry...I was just trying to find some light in this dark day. it is not even close to 1%. according to CIA and DOD estimates, it could not possibly be more than .01% that have "answered the call".

One poster frequently states the U.S. should drop nuclear bombs on Mecca and Medina. Should we do that? I personally don't that is a very good idea.

What a huge error to take out Saddam...that part of the world needs dictators with a heavy hand. We can't go around and say...this is DEMOCRACY, enjoy. It all blows up in our face. it will surprise many that i disagree with you, here. but i think that the WAY in which this was done was very poor. nobody wants their government brought down by foreign powers. no matter how oppressive.

i don't think this war has much to do with territory. it has more to do with ideas. ideas are exceedingly hard to kill. It has to do with both.
i said "much", dem. i did not say "anything".

It flowed to leaders of Third World nations instead of European and American corporate executives and trickling down through Western economies. See it now? Of course I do! And that fork in the road is where we are now. Does GOD want us to live in a multicultural, free & secular society - or under the sword of Islam? Neither side is innocent in their lies, and whoever has been telling the bigger one is finished. Since lying is actually part of the Islamic religion, I'm going with a lot more green on the map that is my avatar. after many centuries under the sword of Christianity, i am thinking "none of the above".

i have a suggestion for you to consider: they are not that smart, either. or, worse, they don't give a crap about DOING anything to fix this.

Syria refugee crisis: U.S. opens centres to speed vetting The Obama administration is moving to increase and accelerate the number of Syrian refugees who might be admitted into the United States by opening new screening outposts in Iraq and Lebanon, administration officials told Reuters on Friday.
The move comes after President Barack Obama pledged in September to admit an additional 10,000 Syrian refugees in 2016, torn by four years of civil war and disorder.

carrying guns is not going to stop AK-47's and guys with explosives large enough to blow up a city block strapped to them. the genie has been out of the bottle since the Battle of Algiers. we still have not come to grips with it. it will be interesting to observe whether we ever do.

why? there is no evidence that the refugees have anything to do with the problem.
