So the sites were McDonald's outside stadium, nightclub, theater, hostages at concert hall. All very public -- France has issues with migrants

Don't obsess over it. There's nothing any of us can do.
It will be over by tomorrow morning and we'll know the full extent of the damage then.

Sometimes I really want to live in a bubble. No TV, no radio, no internet or newspapers, just an ipod maybe. Choose to be more content and less informed. Days like today.

CNN is reporting 60 dead so far.
The theater is a hostage situation. The hostage-takers are sytematically scouring the theater for people in hiding.
Evil people suck.

It's time for us, along with our European partners, to put an end to ISIS once and for all. Add Israel into the mix and we've enough man power and military might to level that part of the world.

I hope debt is safe and checks in soon. Me too. It's after midnight in France, hopefully she is home asleep and just unaware of what is going on.

Adding Israel into the mix will only cause problems. It is an arab nation problem. Let the arab countriesm with support from the west, including Russia, handle it. And handle it hard.

The moderate Arab world does tend to stay silent through these events, don't they?

Sorry, but the middle eastern people and nations haven't solved this problem of theirs in centuries....why do you think they would start now? The USA ended WW2 with Japan, if we had the resolve to do that then, why not now? Putin talks a good story but doesn't deliver, the UK is likely putting their heads in the sand just a little deeper. Germany is opening their arms to anyone who can make it over the border. So, who's left? Oh...I remember, our weak kneed wimp of a President named Obama.
Nevermind my first comments, we won't do anything but go to the UN and have them discuss ideas.

The moderate Arab world does tend to stay silent through these events, don't they? if you are looking for a response from moderate arab nations with this on-going event in Paris, keep in mind it is three-four A.M. in the Middle East countries at this hour. I am sure there will be talk and commentary about the attack as the Middle East wakes up in the morning. They too are in the eyesights of terrorists.

Maybe I'm not moving in the right circles, but I NEVER hear moderate Muslims condemn such attacks with the outrage non-Muslims do. If Islam is a faith of peace and love -- and I believe it is -- is it time to insist, no demand, that Muslims police their own?

I agree that the ME countries haven't solved their problems in centuries but US and other countries intervention there have only made things worse. If it wasn't for the resources in the region most countries wouldn't be involved and the issues probably wouldn't be what they are. Leaders have been put into power that later had to be taken out and that only further destabilized the region. As messed up as it is some of those guys that were removed had the region in better shape because of the fear people had for them.
