I wonder if she was in jammies, or outside clothes. (Oh wait, she was probably wearing yoga pants. They are appropriate for everything. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png) ) He said she was sleeping, but if she was wearing street clothes, it would seem odd that she would get up, change into her clothes, go into the bathroom and not pull down her pants to pee.

"— I battled to get her out of the toilet and pulled her into the bathroom. I phoned Johan Stander, who was involved in the administration of the estate, and asked him to phone the ambulance. I phoned Netcare and asked for help." This could just be a difference in language idiom or translation, but I'm guessing Johan Stander is not just "involved in the administration of the estate" but is also Oscar's attorney. Regardless of who Johan is, I always find it extremely odd when someone calls their attorney or any other person prior to calling an ambulance. I was wondering if "administration of the estate" meant that he was the administrator of the gated community that Pistorius lived in - so maybe Pistorius had to call him in order to get an ambulance through the gates/past security? I don't know. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/huh.gif)

He claims someone told him not to wait for the ambulance and to take her to the hospital. I don't know if called the ambulance. That seems unclear to me.

I saw that too. That doesn't make any sense to me, but I'm a city dweller and the hospital is only a couple (literally, two) miles from my house. I wouldn't want to move a badly injured person, and if I just shot someone, I wouldn't be the best driver.
I know if you are rural the protocol might be different.

The only confirmation of phone usage I've seen was that none of the phones in the room were used to call police. If, as he indicated, he called NetCare, that's a SA hospital chain that does operate an emergency 911 service.

I wonder if she was in jammies, or outside clothes. (Oh wait, she was probably wearing yoga pants. They are appropriate for everything. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png) ) Um, I think I may have to admit that what Thyme has been telling me all these years is indeed correct. This last weekend, I was racing in an out of town regatta and on day 3 one of the guys on the crew asked if I'd left my "jammies" on the boat. Since I hadn't worn jammies on the boat, I said no. He was confused since I was the only girl on the boat and the "jammies" were way too small for the guys; he then went down below and pulled out the yoga pants I'd worn the prior afternoon after the race. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/shucks2.png) So I guess Thyme was right. Apparently the yoga pants I so dearly love look like jammies. $*&@+!

I even wore them home the day after the race. Told the guys I was going to excuse myself to go change into my PJs. Now, if I decide I no longer care to be hungry (reference to moneyjenny's thread) and my butt reflects that decision, then the realization that the pants are essentially jammies will probably make me leave 'em at home.

Interestingly, the article I read said that the holster for the gun used was found on her side of the bed. If so, then, did he stop in the 'pitch black' next to where his sleeeping partner lay, locate the gun and remove it, but never touch, hear, or say anything to the person he believed was right next to him, that he felt such a need to protect with lethal force?

I read another article that said the police admitted it didn't appear that she had been beaten. It still doesn't look good for him though.

I'm leaning towards tragic accident. What man shoots a woman trying to give him an early morning booty call on Valentine's Day? Why not shoot the woman on Valentine's Day? If the man had the frame of mind of 'Only and Always Mine' then what a perfect gift for his gf.

You know, after I wrote that I thought "I'm talking like a guy that shoots his girl friend debates the timing of it or something"

LOL later. Pretty funny. I saw this - poor Nike. They keep losing spokesmen. ![](http://i.imgur.com/H1BxI9y.jpg)

That's quite a group of the infamous. I never really thought about it like that, bu I think they're right about Nike's slogan needing to be changed. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/sad.png)

He SHOT her and now he wants a private memorial service in memory of his murdered girlfriend ?
He's nuts. He really, really thinks well of himself. He doesn't seem to "get" it. Or all of the aforementioned.

I wonder if he thinks this will bolster his story about it all being a terrible misunderstanding.
