DH is having leftover spaghetti carbonara from last night.
I made a big salad for my self with lettuce, celery, radish, green peeper, mushroom, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, cilantro and cucumber. I am not sure how I forgot to put tomatos in. I shook together some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic and italian herb blend for dressing, topped with about a tablespoon of shaved parmesan. ;D

I have decided to make apple and sage pork chops for dinner tonight. I haven't made this before and I hope I like the recipe.

Taco meat is already prepared - just needed to be defrosted. I use shredded romaine, cover with warmed meat, add shredded cheese.

I apologize there is one type of thread that drives me more crazy then the word chain thread and that is asking what is for breakfast, lunch, or dinner...

Picante chicken with rice and green beans and a green salad. Not very creative or adventurous tonight!

Supper? I've already finished mine. Cup of chicken orzo soup, chicken parm with a side of penne pasta in red sauce, dinner roll, and a small piece of German Chocolate cake. All in all, very tasty.

Gee you're grumpy today, IHOP. And your avatar looks constipated - could that be the problem?

Somebody has to be the one that isn't talking unicorns and rainbows all day otherwise what a boring place this would be. I'm providing a public service.

My hubby works nights, so I already have his "dinner" for tomorrow morning planned & thawing out. I'll throw it all into the crockpot around 1 am and it'll be ready to go for him when he gets home. Before I go to bed, I'll decide what I'm going to cook for kiddo & myself tomorrow and lay it out to thaw in the fridge overnight.
I have to plan out because 9 times outta 10, hubby & kiddo don't want to eat the same thing and I end up cooking 2 different meals.... one late at night for hubby the next morning & then dinner for kiddo & I.

I don't like the fact that all the chicks are prepping dinner, where are all the hubbies that make dinner for their family. Oh wait that fits on the pizza thread...

I always answer the "what's for dinner" question with "whatever I decide to cook".

Wow- you're nice. I fix one dinner, they can choose to eat or not eat. If DH works late- it's left overs or he fixes his own.

Meh... not nice, but as a SAHM with a teenager and a hubby who works nights/sleeps during the day. Gives me something to do.... lol Hubby is very much meat (beef) & potatoes. I get to experiment with different foods and meals for me & kiddo. And that's not every day, there are days that I'm making something I know both will enjoy, so I just make enough to have a full dinner plate for hubby when he gets home in the mornings. There's also always 1 day a week that hubby picks up something to eat on his way home or cooks himself breakfast. that always falls on "fend for yourself" day for kiddo & I.

My wife and I have an agreement anytime I cook, she has to serve me naked. Anytime she cooks I have to serve her in a three piece suit. The kids find it hilarious.
