I'm sure you know plenty about boobs Mama always said...."Find something you're good at and stick with it." Who am I to disagree with such wisdom? See you'll be a natural for that position!

Women in the last trimester should not work. Women who are breastfeeding or pumping and are uncomfortable doing this in the workplace should not work.

"Wow. Judge rules it is not sex discrimination to fire a woman for pumping at work. "
The best part was that he issued that ruling because "lactation is not pregnancy or childbirth related" and therefore was not protected under sex discrimination.

I was always scared I'd go into labor at a bad time or place. Thank heavens for a summer baby and a Christmas one!

I could afford to stay home, but I didn't see any reason to. What am I supposed to do when it's the first pregnancy, stare at the wall?

I confused, was the "women shouldn't work in the last trimester" actually a serious comment? I assumed it was sarcasm, but it seems to have started quite a converstation.
Why shouldn't they work?

I was trying to be funny, I see I got an F on that one. My whole point was that if you're uncomfortable with breastfeeding or pumping at work you shouldn't be there.

Pregnant women should just stay in their birthing huts until their child is 18 years old.

You don't have any less physically risky activities that you like? What do you plan to do for fun when you're older?

When the kids are old enough to walk you just let them go outside, they always come back at food time.

Boats are fun, although now the DW and I are looking to trade down for a smaller one, just to fish and ride around in. I've also taken up outdoor bird photography, got two good pictures of bald eagles, and a red tail hawk on a squirrel last week. Geez, I feel old just reading that last sentence, and I'm only 56.

I sure would have been nervous! Of what? It isn't like oh shit I'm in labor and the next minute you have a baby. The office is 10 minutes on a bad day from the hospital. My coworkers generously offered to drive me to the hospital (in my vehicle) if my water broke and my DH would meet us there. But as it turned out, I had to be induced anyway.

I know that NOW but as someone who had never even been around pregnant women, I was clueless as to how long it does take. Btw, both my kids came faster than billy h, thank GOD.

My second came so fast they didn't have time to even give me meds (that was a fun delivery), but at least I made it to the hospital. My water didn't even break until she was popping out.
