Marsha, no. You're not going to start another of these. You've already started two, one after the original was locked. This isn't going to fly.
I've merged the posts from the last thread into this one, marsha.

Narcissistic people are not mentally deficient, krickitt. There are a lot of them, and they get through life just fine most of the time. Over time, they learn to control the symptoms if they put their minds to it. Their intellects aren't any more deficient than anyone else's, however.

You know, it's funny, the only ones talking about ME are those who follow me around objecting to my topics and I am called a narcissist.

I've got to get mother to bed. If this thread avoids personal attacks and stays reasonable civil, it stands. If it doesn't, it's outa here. I hope that's clear.

You know, it's funny, the only ones talking about ME are those who follow me around objecting to my topics and I am called a narcissist. LOL! Nobody's talking about you marsha, you are just not that interesting. Nobody is objecting to your topic either, as you can see, it has generated responses. The objection is that you seem to feel that your particular topic is so much more interesting and important than anyone else's topic that you needed to start three threads about it in the space of a couple hours, which I would attribute to the fact that you don't like being called on BS when you post it. That comes under the heading of narcisistic behavior. Boundaries. This is the thing...you post a topic, people will agree or disagree. That's the way it works. Simple.

The snarly things are in the eye of the beholder. Many times, they're just people who don't agree with the premise of a thread, or post. If they snarl loudly enough, or cruely they, too, can get burned.

If they snarl loudly enough, or cruely they, too, can get burned. You know, I don't mind people disagreeing with me at all, sometimes I even give people big fat karmas for making good points. It's all the personal attention I don't like. Stick to the subject or go talk about something you're interested in. I don't go on threads that don't interest me to tell people they don't interest me. Dare I say I think that's a little nuts? Why do people, instead of talking about the subject of the thread, just want to attack the person who raises an issue they are uncomfortable with? It's hardly the thing to do at a DISCUSSION site for crying out loud. But I know I can write til my fingers fall off. Some people just don't get the distinction between a discussion forum and a chitty chat room. Again, thanks for the ignore button. One thing, the snarling doesn't have to be loud or cruel to be an attack. It can be, and often is, insidious and sly and even have a smiley face attached and it is still an attack.

You are trying to portray yourself as a victim of personal attacks when you are just as guilty of making personal attacks. Glad you found the ignore button.
