President Obama has played 70 rounds of golf since being elected- including his 70th round immediately after laying the wreath at Arlington this past Memorial Day. i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/08/06/article-1300852-0AAA1A85000005DC-92_634x422.jpg[/img]He has vacationed around the world with an entourage of hundreds at a cost of tens of millions of dollars, including the notorious Queen Michelle's $350,000 trip to Spain, and the 600 hotel room blowout right on the heels of that trip- this time to India where amoung other things Queen Michelle met with commercial sex workers??? Now it is being reported that the number of limousines owne by the federal government has blown up 73% since the Obama regime took power in 2009. 2.5 million jobs- GONE since Obama took office. Food & Fuel prices skyrocketing Numbers of Americans on Food Stamps up 39% Annual deficits are now MONTHLY deficits And this is how your federal government is spending YOUR money? Is that how it's going to be from here on out? Are we just going to be subjects, and our rulers Monarchs? Are we really going to put up with this for another four, eight, twenty years-- watching the average person become a poor, ward of the state while rulers who get no money save the money they take at the point of a gun live like rich rulers of old?

The "average" person has enough guns to remedy the situation. There will be a breaking point as history proves time and time again.

FLYankee for POTUS....he hates golf and long, boring flights. Makes a pretty decent campaign slogan, eh? I may have to hop on the AF chopper to visit the troops stationed at NAS Key West of course.

Well, as much as I'm looking forward to going out in a blaze of glory and leaving my orphaned children in the care of the very state I'd like to see fixed-- I'd rather try to win this battle by waking people up, and helping them see the truth so that they will vote liberty.

I drove limos for awhile. Sometimes there is a need for a huge car, but most often it is status and the people that use them are insufferable bores and elitist jerks that don't seem to get that they are driving in a fancy cab, with a fancied up cab driver at the wheel. LOL!! I would LOVE to see the list of Bam's limo drivers. Community activism in action!! Wonder how many came from the streets of Chicago??

How many of you have played 70 rounds of golf in your LIFE? I sure haven't. Though I admit I play more now that I actually can due to nicer weather-- though I pay for my own rounds of golf.

70 Rounds of Golf, neutral pace 4 hours per round = 280 hours/24 hours per day = 11.83333 days playing golf.
I have played more than 70 rounds though it took over 8 years for me to do it.

George W. Bush, who was ridiculed by the left for playing golf 'all the time' played 24 rounds of golf during his entire eight years in office.

I had a program I bought for 10 bucks that allowed me to keep track of all my rounds, all kinds of info, plus all the courses I played, it went when I got rid of my first computer and it was a great program, I ddin't down load it when I changed computers, no idea how, but I am looking at my course here, play mostly now, over 250 rounds at least, was visiting the area when MOM lived here and now me over eight years, so 70 rounds, pish..a drop in the bucket, and my handicap, sucks.... and I am a piker compared to many here...so try another track...

I couldn't afford too...I'd save money just buying a box of golf balls every week and dropping them in the trash as I leave the store. LMAO....I wasn't even a dirty thought when Ike was POTUS. This? No, us poor demented whiners complain about a lot more than this....and you poor, demented apologists can find an excuse for every single one of 'em. In fact if you actually read the OP, you would have seen several "complaints" in the one post (PBP is multi-talented) but apparently some can't see past "this". (Pssst....don't take things so seriously around here txbo.)

LOL, floridayankee I really don’t take anything that serious, I just like to stir the pot every now and then. I usually post during the time the market is open and I’m already on the computer or late at night doing research. If I believed everything on this board I would be living in a cave somewhere in Montana.

Republican Eisenhower played around 800 rounds during his administration. You poor demented whiners is this all you can complain about. It is a violation of the CoC to call names. Secondly, it's about more than golf, but the growth of a new kind of entitlement class-- a 'ruling class' that rides around in limos, vacations all over the world, and plays golf-- but at OUR expense. Third, the golf in particular was something that bothered the left terribly during George W. Bush's term. Finally-- source me on Ike's 800 rounds. I wouldn't ordinarily doubt it-- but it's you, so...

Palm , I know I am suspect to you too..however, sorry guy, it's a fact..scroll to the bottom, saves you time, though the article is of interest, and it does say he net worked many times, didn't even know that "net working " was a in thing in early 50's, what we learn here on the pro boards, impressive, networked with the Oil lobby, Coal lobby, banking lobby... [just kidding, have no idea who he lobbied with and seriously could care less..in fact the more rounds he played, fine by me] ..now if ONLY the same would be thought here on our current POTUS but to expect that to be given him by you and friends,.,, --------------------------------- www.eisenhowermemorial.org/stories/Ike-Golf.htm------------------------------------------ "Was Ike the most ardent golfer to inhabit the White House? Not by a long shot. Woodrow Wilson, who did everything possible to keep his golf from the public’s eye, played over 1,200 rounds while he was in the White House. Ike, however, played only about 800 rounds during his presidency, about two a week. So much for historical reputations!"

It is a violation of the CoC to call names. Are you sure??? If I had a dime for every name I have been called, I could live in a mansion next to Nancy Pelosi in San Francisco and drive a Rolls Royce...and that is my story and I am sticking to it...

A round of golf per week doesn't really seem overly excessive to me. The left did complain about everything Bush did from Golf to his grades in college (I don't even know what kind of grades the current President have while in college). Unfortunately, politics has become less about the actual issues and more about making the other side look bad.

Just like to make sure all and newbies who are on these board with my leanings politically and if it is bothering you , these expressions of reminders, suggest you take a walk and loosen up. I know it is hard for some from certain political leanings to do such unless less bashing a particular individual here, then their ideas of humor seems to take off, but to get a smile and loosen up a bit in other ways , it wouldn't hurt. Life really isn't that serious, and to walk around with a stick all the time, it smarts and really uncomfortable as hell or so I have head. I never had one of those, again I understand it is something common with certain political leaning folks, definitely not those from the middle to the left , which in case you weren't aware of , I consider myself to belong to, my political leanings.

Ike was my favorite President he should play as much golf as made him happy. He played two rounds a week and he had a putting green at the south lawn of the White House. I was wrong about the 800 rounds the book said nearly 900 and more than 1000 days of his presidency..

I simply posted this because the left went absolutely apoplectic every time Bush played a round of golf; then later when he gave up golf to show solidarity with the troops, they said he was playing politics.

And the federal employee rolls have exploded under Obama; and the limo fleet blew up 73%-- nobody has addressed that; and Obama has spent tens of millions going on vacations-- and I don't care who you are, it's going to be hard to explain away 600 rooms-- even if the SS entourage was 100.

Well if nothing else. you folks are assuring job security for the folks who work at Snopes.com. For example? Did Obama play his 70th round of golf on Memorial Day? Yes. Has the number of limousines owned by the federal government increased 73% since Obama took office? Yes. Did the Obama's book 600 hotel rooms on their trip to India? True. You made the snide remark implying that what I posted is not true-- back it up. Prove something from the OP, or my subsequent posts false. Do it.
