NAG....... WOW I'm tired of packing already...... LOL, and I'm only moving like a couple of house down the street!!!!! Is so confusing for my DMIL, because right now we are living in her house, she moved in with her DM when her health started getting bad to help her. But, then again MDIL has short term memory loss from an accident she had about 20 years ago and she has a hard time if things get moved around and my DH being an only child, well she takes it out on him . I'm hoping everything is this week or I will be in the mental hospital Kara... PM me if you still need more Q's I got 4 I can send you. I just skim tru the board, just to kind of keep up LOL.

If you're not using these I was able to get some rainchecks for my neighbor just starting out and starting her stockpile.

Munjoyhill: Before you use your Rephresh raincheck at CVS, check out iheartcvs.com. I think there's a $1.00 IPQ available, so that would give you a profit.
At CVS today I did 3 transactions: 1) Rephresh tampons $6.79 Nail polish remover pad .49 Subtotal: $7.28 Minus ECB's 7.00 Minus Giftcard .25 Tax

CVS cont.: OOP $.13 ECBs $6.79
2) 5 Dove Men's deodorant @ $3.00 = $15.00 2 X-tra Laundry detergent @ 1.49= 2.98 1 Pringles to Go @ 1.00= 1.00 Minus 5 Dove $2.00 MQ's -$10.00 Minus 2 X-tra IPQ's - 1.00 Minus CRT Q - 1.00 Minus ECBs - 6.79 Plus tax + 1.17 OOP $1.36 ECBs earned: $5.00
3) Hershey Bliss (raincheck) $5.99 Minus MQ (expired but they took it) -1.00 Minus ECBs - 5.00 Total OOP 0.00 ECBs earned: $5.99
I'm not going to break down my Meijer deals but it was awesome today! I got 118 items for $29.77 and saved $75.15 using coupons. I'm most excited about the 40 lbs. of charcoal, 8 Chi Chi salsa, and 25 candy bars. I am freezing the candy at my neighbor's house for Halloween. I don't have enough freezer space and it might be too tempting having all that chocolate around.

I'll share my last store from yesterday Hounding trip and then I swear, I'll stop oversharing for a little while, lol. You all know how it is, right? So much fun to have a good day of hounding! So my last store on my rounds yesterday was Albertson's grocery store. They had their Doubler coupons this weekend, where you get to double 3 coupons up to $1. So I bought 2 Tree Top apple juice (3 per pkg) for $1 each. I used a $1 IP q from the Tree Top website, so 2 juices free! Yay! And, then, I got MORE free Tic Tacs thanks to Sharona & Babbs who have both been so kind to generously give me loads of Tic Tac q's! I wonder if my insides are going to turn orange from all the orange Tic Tacs I am chowing down on?

I wonder if my insides are going to turn orange from all the orange Tic Tacs I am chowing down on? Orange tictacs are da bomb. Reminds me of the guy in the movie Juno. When my brother and I were little, mom would buy us each a little container and my brother would eat the entire thing right there in the store. BOYS!

Oreo, I'm still catching up from being off for a few days. HOLY MOLEY!!!! $6 for a can for pie filling?? Yikes!! I paid about $2 for mine. Like MarvHolly suggested, try the Dollar Store or Aldis. I think any flavor would work just as well as the blueberry. I haven't tried it and we just walked in the door from visiting my family in Indiana.

I am willing to share coupons, I get one newspaper per week with one set of coupons. I have just started, so only have coupons from last week and this week. Would anyone have the following coupons: Folgers Coffee Angel Soft or Cottonelle Suave Hair Products All Detergent Bounty Paper Towels Greek Yogurt (any variety) Olive Oil Truvia Colgate Toothpaste - but regular, not whitening (can't use it) I know you can "PM" people here, I assume PM is Private Message, but how/where do I do this? Thanks for anything you can provide! Munjoyhill:You should be able to print Cottonelle q's here: www.cottonelle.com/coupons.aspxI can send you Truvia and Greek Yogurt q's. I also have some Wags catalina q's for Colgate toothpaste I can send you. To PM me, do you see the icon to the left of the ignore button? If you float your mouse over the icon you'll see it says [send pm]. Press that button & you can send me a PM w/your address & I'll get those q's out to you! ETA: There are olive oil (Filippo Berio) and Truvia coupons on www.coupons.com . Most of the time, you can print 2 per computer from that site - some items will be limited to 1. 2nd ETA: Also, there's an olive oil and Truvia coupon on smartsource.com.

Frugalsuz's blog is the best! She cherry picks the best deals at RA/Wags/CVS. So much easier than all the other blogs out there. They mean well, but I don't want to read a list of every single sale item. Yaaawn. Lol.

Just learned that it's not good to fry food with olive oil. Ummm...why not? The smoke point is suppose to be low for olive oil, but I just read that it's smoke point is 400. I think I only get to 350, 375 when I use it to fry my fish and do my stir fry so I think it'll still be alright to use. When a oil gets to it's smoke point it gives off by-products. I just learned this today.

I have a Westinghouse LCD that's just a few years old. Picture is great, but the dang thing turns itself off whenever it wants. Getting more frequent lately, and then it won't turn back on! debinwa I've heard that complaint about a couple different brands....I think even the Vizio a time or two on the reviews. I don't want DBF stuck with a $800 TV that doesn't work. He'd be fine with fixing the old TV, but the local place no longer fixes them. Why couldn't we stick with the old style tried and true that actually works? I hate trying to figure out new technology when it keeps changing! I know what you mean, but it is nice to have it fit in a much smaller space! It's not so fun when it goes black in the middle of your favorite show though!

constanz22 and shelley:Consumer Reports rates the Samsungs at the top for just about every size flatscreen. The Vizio, however, isn't that far behind. The Westinghouse was listed 37th! Not a surprise to me!

Leanna - thanks for the reference point on the s'mores supplies. When I averaged it out I spent $1.77 per item/package, which may not be a great deal, but it's certainly much better than I've done before. I'll get better at it as I go. I just meant that there's only one of me, and I work on Sundays, so some of my deals will be dependent on if I have the energy to shop after work or if there's stock left later in the week. Where are you in Oregon?
I noticed last night, AFTER all my shopping, that my apartment complex has a newspaper box thingy that sells the daily at $0.25 and Sunday for $0.75 rather than the normal $0.75/$1.50. I will definitely have to take advantage of that next week!

ReneeJune, You are exactly right! You're spending less than you were, and now that you're looking for deals, you'll find more & more of 'em! Ah, yes, I see what you mean - you may have to end up getting a lot of rainchecks if your stores are OOS later in the week. It would be difficult to hound after a full day of work! With RA, the rainchecks are great. With Wags, they don't include Register Rewards in their rainchecks. So if they're OOS of an item that would be free after RR, getting a raincheck won't be helpful, which is too bad. I live by Bridgeport Village - do you know where that is? It's the Tualatin/Lake Oswego area. Now, since you live South of me, I'm presuming you are outside of the test market area for Wags? If so, you are one lucky gal!

When we went to replace it, the best picture was ....another Samsung so that's what we bought. The second one cost less than the first one.

Ok I'm back to couponing again. I am really hoping to go slow and learn more this time sealy: Good job. To save the most money, it is important to just take it slow and easy. If/when you are down to your last of something (like when you grab that last deodorant or package of laundry detergent), start looking for the item on ad and hopefully combine with a coupon. Buy one of what you need UNLESS you can get it for free (or very close to it) and then stockpile as many as you have coupons for within the limit restrictions imposed. We're here to help you, so check in with us regularly and let us know how you're doing.

It would be nice to get one a bit bigger. On the other hand, I hate to replace it if it's not completely dead...

In regard to tvs turning off on their own and vizio brand: several folks noted on amazon that this was a problem with the sets, but they were sent new tvs in most cases and received excellent customer service in almost every review, especially if they opted for vizio to perform the set replacement and not amazon....

Thanks for the tips on couponing, and to leanna for sending me coupons. I probably should have mentioned that I don't have a printer at home, and last year I tried to download whatever I needed to download to print coupons at work, and wouldn't you know it that I downloaded a virus ! My IT person was not happy with me, and she scolded me for trying to print them at work. I went to Walgreens last night, the first time I've ever stepped into one of the stores, and I was impressed! Walgreens are new to Maine, so they're not on every street corner like CVS or Rite Aid, but I have a new one a mile or so from where I live. I got some good deals: 1 pkg Angel Soft $4.00 2 Hefty 1 Gal bags (B1G1) 2*$3.29 1 WAG Aluminum foil 25 sf $1.29 1 Nail polish remover $1.17 Total $13.04 I used two WAGS coupons from this Sunday's ad, the Hefty was B1G1, and the Aluminum foil was $.69. To my OOP total was $9.15 plus tax The above were items I needed, all of them. I am starting to slowly build my stockpile. So far I have stockpiled -- who am I kidding, I haven't stockpiled anything! I live alone, and I am trying to figure out how much to stockpile. I have a list of the items I use, some are brand specific, some are not. I am starting slow, mostly just starting with HBA items.
