You're fucking kidding me?! She can't help because she has her period?! Good lord, what a princess. She needs to get over herself. ![](http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/smileys/75_75.gif) Now now ladies. Give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she said I AM NOT HELPING YOU PERIOD. We may have a case of selective hearing on his part. ![](http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/smileys/1-1.gif)

Back to the original question . . .
I'd waste the $$$. I'm the poster child for "pay yourself first." I keep inching up my retirement contributions lately because I'm not "sure" how much more I can afford to contribute. So every month I am contributing $25 more, thinking that's the cost of dinner out or a Saturday spent going to garage sales.
Every month I end up with exactly the same amount of $$$ left. It's because I pay the bills, at least theoretically, at the beginning of the month by subtracting them out of my check register. For example, I put $100 for gas and then make all my gas purchases out of that debit. The rest is discretionary.
Six months in a row, it's been no problem. (I did $200 for January to cover the SS discounted contribution.) So that's still $150 more that I didn't waste this month.
It's not much, but I am not a high-earner, either.
ETA: I also started a "replace appliance fund" at $50. So that's $200 that I'm not wasting.

I'd waste it on eating out and spa trips. Maybe I could get a weekly massage!

I'd buy a bigger house. And pay movers to carry my boxes - regardless of the time of the month, I am a delicate flower.
