it'd make my day if the colts are kept out... Eagles should at least make it to the NFC championship game, right?

I can't speak for anyone else, but personally I'm just tired of the Mannings. And they both seem to cry if they lose (which is actually kind of amusing and something to root for....). Go Packers and Jaguars and Titans!! It looks like the Jags are going to lose, so the Colts are unfortunately in. The announcers just said if the Colts win, they play the Jets, if they lose, they play the Ravens. I think I'd rather play the Jets to be honest. I have respect for P. Manning, he doesn't seem to get any more emotional than other QB's (Brady included in that). I know that Pats fan may not see it that way though.

I can't believe the Titans fumbled the ball after getting a fumble. It didn't really matter since the Jags lost anyway. I didn't realize that Jags didn't have their starting QB or RB today.

I don't like PM, but I don't dislike him as much as his whiny, crybaby brother. "Daddy! I don't wanna go to San Diego! They can't make me!"

I've seen Brady get upset a lot, and people just say they like that he gets emotional. Brees seems pretty level headed the times I've seen him. Rivers definitely gets emotional. Big Ben the same way. So, I'm back to saying that I don't really see him getting more emotional than other QB's around the league. I have to also say I'm a Jags fan and hate that we didn't make the playoffs again.

I am mentioning other high caliber QB's and it seems like Brady should be mentioned in that mix when comparing emotionality in the game.

I still think Eli's a crybaby though. edit: I just deleted a snarky reply (without posting) to someone that hadn't even directed their nasty comment at me, over in that other thread. I think I'm going to step away from this board for a little bit, maybe watch the night game. have a great night, everyone

Eli could win 10 rings, break all of Marinos and favre's records, walk on water while playing Beethovens 5th on a harmonica and he'll never get my respect for that wuss move he pulled when he was drafted. Ran to daddy, still wanted the #! overall pick but wouldn't go to san Diego....I'm so glad Rivers turned out o be 10 times the better QB!!!

At least we will not be listening to the commentators comparing Eli to Peyton this year. I guess there was some justice in the fact Greenbay beat the Bears yesterday.
If the Bears are planning to win in two weeks, they better go back and check on the invention of the forward pass. They seem like they have never seen one on defense.

The Packers backup QB had a decent day against the Pats last week. Matt Flynn is the the backup QB and he played well. I got over the loss quickly, because I was happy to know we have 2 good quarterbacks.

Does Ben get emotional? I didn't know that. Rodgers is level headed. A nice change after seeing Favre whine and cry for 17 years. I did like Favre and still do, but he can be a whiner.

I'd like the Seahawks to at least win their first game, so this way people can stop bitching about the fact that a 7-9 made the playoffs, and they can stop all this whining about division winners getting into the playoffs if they don't have one of the top 6 records.

If you think about it, the Seahawks actually might have a chance. It's hard to beat the same team twice, and the Saints may be looking past this week. On top of that, it's in Seattle...might be a better game than people think.

While it would definitely be interesting to see the Seahawks advance, I'm not happy with the current system and allowing the Seahawks in with a 7-9 record is exactly why. Worse than that is the fact that they get a home playoff game. At a minimum, I think the rules should be changed such that even if every division winner still makes the playoffs regardless of record, the seeding should be based entirely on the record. If the Seahawks do miraculously beat the Saints this weekend, I bet it'll be almost entirely attributable to homefield advantage. (And I'm not a bitter Saints fan or anything...in fact, I'm kind of hoping the Seahawks beat them).
