Just carrying over this thread to talk about football. ;D The playoffs are still in question. This year seems to be one of the better years where teams are more evenly matched with very few actually standing out as dominant.

I hate to see what has happened to Favre this year. He really should have quit while he was ahead.

I'm rooting for Tim Tebow to have an outstanding day, and for the Broncos to lose anyway. Top 5 draft pick, here we come!

I think the Bears will be the weakest team in the playoffs, much less division champs.

I think the Bears will be the weakest team in the playoffs, much less division champs next to whomever comes out of the NFC West. Fixed

The Packers backup QB had a decent day against the Pats last week.

He sure did.He looks pretty decent. The Pack has got to be fuming about the Bears, and rightfully so. I think they are a better team even with Rogers gone, imo.

The Jags lost in OT to the Redskins...I guess that is what happens when you are a one dimentional offense and that one dimension gets hurt. Although, I have to admit I like what I've seen from the backup RB so far. I'm not sure who makes the playoffs for the AFC South if the Colts lose next week and the Jags win. I am guessing the Colts since they beat Oakland by more points and they didn't play the Titans at the start of the season when they were playing well, so unfortunately the Jags have a blowout loss against the Titans.

Tebow threw for over 300 yards! Booyah!!! But the Broncos won. That could hurt their draft position.

The J
I feel the same way about the Cards....how could they beat Dallas? Now we will be lucky to get 4th or 5th pick
But Skelton did look like he could develop into a QB...a 5th rounder from Fordham
One can only hope....

My beloved Bears are looking good on offense, but the defense look like they have never seen a forward slant pass for 10 to 15 yards. Made Sanchez look like he was the top rated quarterback Sunday, instead of what, 14th? Indianapolis is making it interesting. Looked like they were out of the playoffs, and now all they have to do is beat Tennessee at Indy this weekend, and they will go to the AFC finals at a minimum.

If Jags win and Colts lose, the Jags would be in.

Yeah but was is the likelyhood the colts are going to lose. If the Jags win today and the Colts lose, the Jags have the better divisoin record, so I think the tie breaker goes to the Jags...so the season isn't over yet. Also, it looks like they have a new chat area for sports.

I am uspet about the jags. They are still in it with a win today against the Texans and a Colts loss, the Jags have the better division record with the same overall record.

I actually did know that, but this thread was started before the new board was started. Thanks for moving it over.
