Oh yes..tomorrow this time, another one bites the dust and I will finally make another update to my sig ;D I am so freakin' excited. I tried to keep myself calm this whole week and the day is almost finally here. Since 15th falls on Sunday, I will get paid tomorrow. Oh my, I can't wait to wake up early and pay that Amex Clear off! That will be 2nd card paid off in full since March 15th. That thing.. I tell ya...so small, but it was always there! Just $15 a month minimum payment, but balance never moved lol ugghh no more! So plan for tomorrow morning..wake up...brew some coffee...go brush my grill, work out, shower, dress for work, make bfast...sit down by my laptop and hit "PAY BILLS" button! No more emails from Amex Clear with "Your monthly payment is due". $700.14 goes to Amex Clear (full balance) and $343 goes to Amex Blue which is next in line with $3200 balance. I am stoked! Can't you tell? ![](http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/smileys/2.gif)

Congrats to you indebt, and to financial texan too! There is no better feeling than paying off a credit card. (Almost as good as cutting it up!) ![](http://boards.msn.com/Themes/default/emoticons/tongue_smile.gif) Enjoy your weekend as another credit card payment "bites the dust"! ![](http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f351/charonn0/high5.gif)

You know that when 3am hits you'll be logging into your bank account to see if the money has cleared, and then that payment will be gone before the sun comes up. Cheers!

Is there going to be carryover interest? I know most of the time my last payment for a cc turned out to not be the last because of how they calculate the interest. But I was doing paper checks...

No, I don't think so. I think it's already calculated in my current balance. At least that's how GE Card was when I paid it off. I kept checking but there was no payment due.
If you think about it, it makes sense. It's like if you were using your card for monthly expenses and then paid it off in full when you get the bill so you don't pay any interest.
I got the bill last night from Amex Clear and my balance was $700.14. 2 days before, it was $689, so it looks like they already included interest in this month's statement.

indebt (and others paying off debt): ![](http://us.social.s-msn.com/s/images/emoticons/thumbs_up.gif) I've never had any credit card debt or car loans, but I can imagine how exciting it would be to get rid of them. ![](http://us.social.s-msn.com/s/images/emoticons/martini.gif)

Now, continue this for about 2-3 years. Then, imagine...for some reason..after about 3 years, all those things your "bought" really are nowhere to be found and now all of the sudden you wake up one day and you carry this super heavy backpack on your back filled with rock. You have a good paying job, but really you never have any money and you start wondering why is that? Then one day you come to realize that, if you just work really really hard for one year or so, that backpack will be gone. That's all you have to do! You will be able to sleep better at night, worry free and you start thinking about how much money you will have when you are done working this hard. That's what it feels like to me.

So Indebt, have you thought about a new nic yet? ;-) And I'm curious, what will you use that money for once you're done with your consumer debt? I know you're not there yet, but I'm sure you think about it. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
