We registered at JC Penney's and Target, but other than our towels, if our guests used the registries, it came from Target. If you don't have some already, I would highly recommend registering for some Pyrex sets. I received 4 small and 4 large bowls, 4 baking/casserole dishes, and 3 mixing bowls, all with lids. Five years later, I still use them constantly, and they've held up very well. All I'm really missing are more small rectangular containers that would stack better in the freezer. When are you getting married again Firebird?October. I also got married in October, and many of the small things we registered for but didn't receive right away showed up under the Christmas tree.

you should also register for Corningware french white stuff. I love love love mine (got it in 1990) and use it several times a week. It goes with everything - bone china and walmart china.

Wedding registries are simple. You should simply forget all that is mentioned above and put a Margaritaville on your registry, and that's it. It's all you'll ever need. Trust.

That looks way more fun than a toilet bowl brush.

I think the first link is one of the exact sets I have. The second is similar, only my bakeware has lids. They are really nice for taking food to potlucks, or, if we're feeling especially lazy when it comes time to clean up dinner, just put on the lid and stick it in the fridge regardless of how much food is left.

I registered for both. We have cookware but not bakeware, and we can definitely use the storage containers.
