I know that this loony bird doesn't represent ALL christians or even MOST christians. His is actually a pretty small following. I don't intend to hold all christians responsible for this one nut - just like I don't hold all christians responsible for the that guy who protests military funerals. I hope most others can tell the difference between the large amount of christians in this country and the smaller groups of extremists. Although, we (PBP) certainly can't tell the difference between a muslim and a terrorist - so maybe christians don't stand a chance.

When 6:00 pm rolls around on Saturday, and nothing happens, I will not laugh out loud nor chuckle to myself. I will simply pity the poor misguided fools who believed it. However, I will somewhat condemn them for trying to push their nonsense onto others.

I think camping just ran out money from his last prediction in 1994. He is supposedly still taking donations what an a-hole.

Ironically, in his false prophecy, he fulfills prophecy of false teachers and false prophets concerning the last days and the predictions of Christ's return. There will always be some nutball cult for people to follow. The Bible predicts that in the last days there will be strong delusion- so much so that if it were possible, the lies would even fool God's own.

We just might get inundated with a bunch of (disappointed?) believers who have decided to take themselves out.

Paul you mean like in the prophecy he believes nobody will know who is raptured because it is decided before birth, but the nutty followers tell their children and family members they are not going to heaven because they know. Also have the balls to claim they will be saved over everyone else as if god told them directly, so much wrong here I hope the kids just come out sane.

I thought it was midnight Isreal time. I didn't realize God needed so many hours to get all the way around the globe.
I guess God hates dinner time. Either that, or he is just planning on coming during the evening news. Maybe he just loved Katie Couric and he is pissed that she is no longer on.

The one thing standing in my way is a prophet at our church had a word that there will be a disaster. To trust God and to pray we will all be well. This particular person has been correct 99.9% of the time. The remaining percent because it has not come to pass yet.

I think Obama set this country up for judgment this week. I believe the anger of God is being kindled against the enemies of Israel, and that this world is spiraling towards the battle that was predicted in Ezekiel 38.

The good news is that The Rapture will start May 21 at 6 P.M. (local time) in each time zone around the world. We need to watch New Zealand to see if anything happens there.

The good news is that .... The bad news is that no American citizen has a ticket to ride because our stupido preidentia called for Israel to return to its 67 borders.

Rapture Ready: The Science of Self DelusionWhy Harold Camping's flock won't give up the faith, whatever happens on Saturday. "A MAN WITH A CONVICTION is a hard man to change. Tell him you disagree and he turns away. Show him facts or figures and he questions your sources. Appeal to logic and he fails to see your point." So wrote the celebrated Stanford University psychologist Leon Festinger (PDF), in a passage that might have been referring to climate change denial—the persistent rejection, on the part of so many Americans today, of what we know about global warming and its human causes. But it was too early for that—this was the 1950s—and Festinger was actually describing a famous case study in psychology. More: motherjones.com/politics/2011/03/denial-science-chris-mooney

OMG, will this interrupt the Preakness? Not if the run the race before 6 PM local time. Or they can simply find some heathen jockies to ride the horses and all will be well.

Greyhounds chase an electrically controlled and propelled mechanical rabbit around the track. Maybe Preakness authorities can hook up an electrically controlled and propelled mechanical carrot for the horses to chase? Apple? Sugar cubes?

And the nuts just keep on coming... Noah's Ark Theme Park Gets Final Go-Ahead In KentuckyThings are about to get Biblical in Kentucky. On Thursday, the Kentucky Tourism Development Finance Authority gave final approval to grant $40 million in tax rebates to build a biblical theme park called "The Ark Encounter." The controversial museum, backed in part by Mike Zovath, a co-founder of the Answers in Genesis ministry which previously built Kentucky's 70,00 square-foot Creation Museum, got the funding after months of back and forth over the legitimacy of a religious attraction being funded by a state government. No matter, the Kentucky Tourism Development Finance Authority voted unanimously to grant more than $40 million in tax rebates for the project, which is scheduled to cost $172 million (visitors to the Ark's website see a "donate here" tab). More: news.travel.aol.com/2011/05/19/noahs-ark-theme-park-gets-final-go-ahead-in-kentucky/I know Noah was in the Bible, and he and his lived a loooooooong, loooooong time, and did nice things with animals, though the thing with the mosquitoes, was it really necessary, but was he really into the religion part. It's been a while but wasn't he way before Abraham and the singular all mighty. Any help here is appreciated.
