Ridiculous environmental alarmism. This list probably came from a travel agent...

In short, the world is vastly overpopulated and we desperately need a massive pandemic that would kill off about 3 billion. The good news is that chances are it will happen within the next 50 years or so.

I'd like to see the Florida Everglades and the Florida Keys. I had my fill of rainforests in Brazil. Three words: Giant Scary Bugs! And I can report that I nearly froze my butt off while off the coast of Antarctica and steaming through the Straits of Magellan and around Cape Horn ~ but we saw pinguinos, which was pretty nifty!

10 natural wonders to see before they disappear They forgot to include my girlish figure. Actually when I first clicked on this thread & scanned them I expected to see Dolly Partons boobs. They weren't listed. I reread the title & then it dawned on me......Natural Wonders...Ok I see why they weren't listed now.

I thought the Government bought out th sugar conglomerate in Florida, to rebuild some of the Everglades. Were't they rediverting the flow of some of the waters that had been diverted away years ago? Everglades are nice, but boring. The Keys are interesting, but would have been better served if they blew up the road and bridge system that connects the islands. Oh, and ban all the boats flying highspeed thru the waters. Glacier National Park. Big and spectacular, but even when I visited it 10 years ago, it was hard to find a glacier. It is in the lower 48 states, you know.......
As far as the Dead Sea, Well it really isn't dead, but is changing due to things other than global warming. Otherwise it never would have been called "dead" by the natives centuries ago. Doesn't have more to do with tetonic plates moving under the Earth's surface?
Great Barrier reef. Originally it was not there. Then it was. Then it was destroyed. Then it rebuilt. Then it died. then it was rebuilt. It is called the Circle of Life for a reason......

Cooling period my butt. The Pubs are the only party in the modern world that doesn't believe in global warming. Absolute bought off idiocy and ignorance.

Molly, what are your thoughts of the Redwood forests in California? Family vacation driving thru the forest. About the most awe inspiring natural wonder I have ever seen.

Or, let them know that the data quality is very, very questionable - look for a new release from this site: surfacestations.org/>70% of stations have an error of >2 degree C, >90% of stations have an error of > 1 degree C. When the IPCC says the temperature can change 1-4 degree C, that's a huge error to have.

Most of these places I really have no desire to visit. Especially when it involves traveling in the region of Africa or the Middle-East areas.
I have no interest in seeing the everglades or the freezing Arctic.
I can always watch my documentaries rather than wasting my money on places like these. I don't have to worry about much of nothing sitting on my sofa and watching a documentary.

Molly, what are your thoughts of the Redwood forests in California? Family vacation driving thru the forest. About the most awe inspiring natural wonder I have ever seen. I love the Sequoias and Redwoods! (We live about 1.5 hours from three National Parks: Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks, to be precise.)

I'd like to see the Florida Everglades and the Florida Keys. Well then, just do it. The keys are beautiful. The glades....eh, it's swamp....what do you expect? Lots of critters that can put a hurtin' on you and mosquitoes large enough to carry away a small child. My BIL wants to do a gator hunt so one of these days I'll have to research it and try to set something up.
