So you are for censorship then krick... good to know... Look up the definition of censorship and you will see that Krickett called for nothing of the sort. I tell you, the lefties here get more pathetic each day. I still like to see them stumble over themselves to defend and support racists, murderers, bigots and terrorists who are friends of the Obamas...

Sorry about your thread, Ed. It's right on. I watched the video, heard his words, he does not belong in the WH. But-- to be expected from Obama. Remember when he attacked the cop for doing his job over the out of line black professor? Obama is a thug. Watching these people day in and day out defend trash like this sure gets old. Sure, threatening cops and presidents is just fine. Doesn't EVERYBODY agree?? Obama can't leave the street out in the street where it belongs, he has to take it in the WH. Gee, let's hope he does his Letter To The Law rant in the WH. Be a fine moment for the USA.

Mafia boss Joseph Massino isn't black, neither are all the Chinese gang-lord or the Mexican drug-lords/criminals. Obama is just an idiot that all the idiots voted into office. He's going to make the most of his term or terms in office by robbing the Feds piggy bank. He's no different than any other president we have had for the last 30 years. They are all crooks that rob from the people to fatten up their bank accounts off the backs of the taxpayers. The same with the Euro trash Queen and her Royal bumming family. They feed off the backs of all others and the poor.

My research has allowed me to grow kids so women will no longer have to carry them for 9 months. Next, I will learn how to turn people into fuel for our cars and trucks.

That is about as smart as the president that invited the head of the IRA to the WH to celebrate St.Pat's day.

But that's the whole basis for the liberal idea of a "protected class" (i.e. gays, muslims, blacks, etc.). That they are somehow better than the rest of us and their lives, careers, educations, etc. are worth more than ours. It's a bigoted and outdated philosophy whose time has come to wander off into the nearest tar pit...

No, no liberal defended this statement:
You know, people who think black people are violent (where's his arrests?) and militantly anti-white?
Oh, and how about I just play the Rush/Beck card and just declare him a comedian. LOL, he's joking! Don't you Conservatives have a sense of humor? Come on, yuk it up! ;D
Mr. Kettle, just substitute "rich" for "gay," etc. and there's Conservatives.
So people who need protected are better? There's an "it" you're just not getting. I recommend you drive to Cluesville, and find an It store ASAP. I heard there's one on Open Minded Blvd.
You mean how he's been questioned for putting his feet on the President's desk (wow, others did it) or his vacation time (Bush took more), or how people want all his school records (nobody really asked before) or the vacation expenses of his wife (other First Ladies took them too) or flying out of the country, etc.? Oh, and by the way, it was unpatriotic to question Bush, so why isn't it now? Could you and Ed carpool together and get yourself an "it" too?

I don't remember anybody claiming it was unpatriotic to question Bush on spending, vacation or anything else.

Obama should invite only country and Western groups. I don't like that rap stuff...... He has...Brad Paisley... Honestly, no matter what Barack Obama does there is going to be some fault found in it. He could walk on water and it really will not matter. Those going back and forth with those who are set in their opinions are useless to debate with because they refuse to have an open mind. So for all those defending Obama and his choices to close-minded individuals are seriously wasting their time. As far as Obama's music tastes, I am of the opinion that they are eclectic, just as mine are. I like rock, gospel, country, r&b, hip-hop, go-go, jazz ... just because he is the president, he doesn't cease to be an individual and as long as that is his residence, he can invite whoever he damn well please, just as any of you can invite to your own house. People are starving, losing jobs, lost jobs, homes being lost to floods, the list goes on and on and some of you worry about the most inane bullshyt. Geesh!

Shocker. dailycaller.com/2011/05/09/burn-a-bush-michelle-obama-invites-rapper-common-to-a-poetry-reading/First Lady Michelle Obama has scheduled a poetry evening for Wednesday, and she’s invited several poets, including a successful Chicago poet and rapper, Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr., AKA “Common.” However, Lynn is quite controversial, in part because his poetry includes threats to shoot police and at least one passage calling for the “burn[ing]” of then-President George W. Bush. Before quoting innocuous text from the internet, please conduct your own research and make up your own mind. His lyrics are on the internet, do a google seach "Common lyrics" and read for yourself. Also take a refresher course on literature, making sure you know types of figurative language, such as metaphor, simile, hyperbole, apostrophe, while focusing on imagery, symbolism and theme before regurgitating someone else's opinion about it.

Shouldn't there be some dignity associated with the highest office in the country?? Is it really a smart thing for a POTUS to invite in to the WH a rapper that promotes burning a former POTUS and defiance against law enforcement?? Is this appropriate? It's like flippin' Woodstock in Washington. Is that the positive message they want to send kids while force changing eating habits?? Eat a healthy meal, then get your UZI and go confront some cops or burn Bush?? REALLY?? The whole country and world is watching these people. I listen to some music I would not listen to with my mother. Where is the common sense? Everything radical and in your face with this administration, and if anyone dares to question it, they are unenlightened and ignorant. What happened to discretion? To the line being what you do in private and what you do in public? How about respect for law enforcement?

I searched his lyrics for the song posted on this thread last night. They are NOT what he said in this you tube. WONDER WHY?? Because it is WRONG to say the things he said on that video. Once it is said, you can change the lyrics all you want, but they are on you tube. Too bad.

Considering Andrew Jackson killed a man for insulting his wife over a horse racing bet, I'm not sure how much diginity there ever was.

To the line being what you do in private and what you do in public? How about respect for law enforcement? So now it is undignified because you say so? Why should he not invite people from all music genres to the White House? Isn't he the president of ALL AMERICANS? He's had Sheryl Crow there, he has had Merle Haggard there, now he invites a rapper to the White House and now everyone is going to hell in a handbasket. What if he invited Sinead O'Connor, Madonna, Lady GaGa, Rufus Wainright, Marilyn Manson, or even Slayer, to the White House, what then? Something will always be said, that's my point. It doesn't matter what he does, there is always going to be some segment of the population that takes exception to it. You CANNOT PLEASE EVERYONE!

Please watch. Tell me if this represents what Americans should stand for. Read the comments to the video, and look at the filth that is being spewn and the hate...This is way worse than President Obama having Common at the White House ... you get to see what people think and how they really feel. It is a shame. And some say racism is dead.... NOT!

So-- you are okay with what Common said, and take exception to the comments to the video? The people making stupid comments were not invited to the WH. What do you think about what Common said? Is it a positive message? Does it represent the USA?
