Kreepy-your picture has been removed. Tennesseer/Moderator I noticed that, don't know why, nothing dirty about it, (just fun and humor). You couldn't see anything other than a man in drag sitting on a toilet naked with a pooffy wig, makeup and a roll of tp laughing. So I replaced it with a differnet one with clothes on.

Bush is from Texas. I've learned that a lot of Texans aren't to fond of blacks or foreigners. I'm glad he declined. I'm sure some people would like to pummel that moron. I can't stand bush for the war he created in Iraq based on all his and Cheney's lies to the American people and the rest of the world.

Will Fox News air President Obama's Ground Zero ceremony on Thursday?
After all, Fox News is only barred from Canada - not New York.

Tennesseer/Moderator It doesn't have to be relevant to the topic, it was in response to another poster. If everything had to be relevant, then why is the poster posting a Hippo shitting in a pool relevant to the thread it's posted on.

Not a good place for large groups of people to be hanging around at right now imo. If Bin Ladens people are pizzed, then they just might have an easy target to take out a lot of people a second time around. Gloating over bin Ladens death imo is not a good thing to be doing this soon. it's adding fuel to the fire.

Gee, I don't know. Do you? Why did he leave?
Actually, I know the answer: He no longer needed to maintain the false image of a redneck rancher cowboy.

Kreepy-this isn't up for debate. You replaced one silly picture with another.
Seeing you are unwilling to follow the rules, you can take a 24 hour vacation.
See you tomorrow night.

Christiane Amanpour Made Eerie Allusion To Osama Bin Laden's Whereabouts On 'Real Time With Bill Maher' October 3, 2008Below is the relevant transcript section from that particular episode, which also featured actors Garry Shandling and Alec Baldwin. Some of the text has been bolded for emphasis. EXCERPTS:AMANPOUR: [overlapping] He’s not. I just talked to somebody very knowledgeable— SHANDLING: [overlapping] Wait, she knows where Osama bin Laden is? AMANPOUR: [overlapping] Well, she doesn’t think –- this woman, who is in America -- SHANDLING: [overlapping] Tell me. AMANPOUR: [overlapping] -- thinks that he’s in a villa, a nice comfortable villa -- AMANPOUR: [overlapping] -- in Pakistan. Not a cave. That’s all -- AMANPOUR: It’s not a cave. In the case of Amanpour, I wouldn't be surprised if she knew and didn't tell anyone...

I think it is AWESOME that Obama asked GWB to go to the bash in NYC with him, don't you guys??? Obama GETS it!! Bush declined, choosing in his retirement to stay away from the haters, but it was a great gesture from Obama to acknowledge the part Bush played in the capture of OBL. You guys all agree, right??? It was just Obama playing politics. He probably figured that Bush would decline, so he took the risk for political points. It worked for you.

I believe if he didn't want him there he wouldn't have invited him, and it's Bushs decision to go or not, I think as one above said it would have been good for the country an I agreed and added , it would have been good for Bush too, he deserved to be there, fior the reasons I gave. You want to get into the back and forth of the politicicals , so be it...not for me, just disappointed he won't be there, it would be a good thing.

NY TIMES: HARSH INTERROGATION PLAYED 'SMALL ROLE AT MOST' WASHINGTON — Did brutal interrogations produce the crucial intelligence that led to the killing of Osama bin Laden? As intelligence officials disclosed the trail of evidence that led to the compound in Pakistan where Bin Laden was hiding, a chorus of Bush administration officials claimed vindication for their policy of “enhanced interrogation techniques” like waterboarding. Among them was John Yoo, a former Justice Department official who wrote secret legal memorandums justifying brutal interrogations. “President Obama can take credit, rightfully, for the success today,” Mr. Yoo wrote Monday in National Review, “but he owes it to the tough decisions taken by the Bush administration.” But a closer look at prisoner interrogations suggests that the harsh techniques played a small role at most in identifying Bin Laden’s trusted courier and exposing his hide-out. One detainee who apparently was subjected to some tough treatment provided a crucial description of the courier, according to current and former officials briefed on the interrogations. But two prisoners who underwent some of the harshest treatment — including Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, who was waterboarded 183 times — repeatedly misled their interrogators about the courier’s identity.
