Went to about 7 different WAGS this morning starting at 7:30. Keep in mind that around here there is basically one on every corner so I'm not going out of my way. I drove from boyfriends place to my place and hit almost every one in between. First one- 24 hour store and they had nothing. Even the crackerfuls they had a note up saying they couldn't get enough from the manufacturer and were offering substitutions and all the substitutions were gone. Also, no calcium, no paper towels, no right guard, no degree... nothing. The store manager said that at midnight they were lining up. This was pretty much the same story at all the ones I hit. I got one item or two items on my list per store throughout the other 6 stores I went to, but nobody had a decent stock of anything. Every place that was 24 hours said that people were lining up before midnight. The ones that open at 8 said that people were lining up at 7am waiting for the doors to open. I don't know about the rest of you, but I didn't even think that the deals were that amazing this week. Definitely not worth me fighting the crowds like that. I 'd never get anything if I didn't have 10 WAGS within reasonable distance. This is getting obnoxious.

I sent my SO out to do my Wag's shopping today. I have to work today and he doesn't. I knew there would be nothing if I waited until 5pm. He got EVERYTHING on my list. He's the best. I love him!!! The clerk even helped him with the coupons. 3 Nice & Easy Haircolor @$5.99 each Inad Coupon - I had two $2/1 Coupons I forgot to send with him. 4 BOGOF Right Guard Body Wash (The shelf was empty, a clerk found 4 in the back for him.) FREE 3 Scott's Natural's 6 pack papertowels at $2.49 each. (I wanted 4 but the only had 3)
He picked out his own fillers, so the OOP was more, but that's ok. He's so amazing! What guy is willing to go use coupons AND buy haircolor???

Got my Q's together and headed to WAGS this morning. Got 5 boxes of the crackerfuls, [glow=red,2,300]4 Ecotrin,[/glow] 2 Goody headache powders, 2 Triple Calcium, 3 kleenex, 2 Quaker Oats (BOGO), 4 gal Arizona Ice Teas, $1 oven mitt for H's grilling (big spender, eh?) for $12.37 OOP and saved $78.01 with in ad Q's and RR's and still have $25 in RR's for future. I'm pretty proud of myself. I did a good job!!!! There was a lady that was new to couponing so I gave her a couple tips, i.e. buying multiple RR items but she would have to ring them up separately and to use the RR on one order to pay for the next order. She was very thankful for the tips!!! Now I am off to the backyard to do more work. Beautiful sunny day so far, maybe rain this afternoon. Enjoy your day everyone!!! KathyatTraverse What's the deal with the Ecotrin? I have 2 Qs, but didn't see anything special posted at WAGS for it.

RA was good---got the FAUP shampoo, but WAGS was a bust except for the Goody's headache powders

GDA at WAGS - dixie plates are are BOGOF wyb 1 @ $2.99 with the 2-day sale. i found the 20 pk ULTRA plates had "$3 in savings" coupons inside in the front of the package. i bought 4, made very small openings to get the q's out of 2 packages. i used 4 x $0.50 coupons. so my transaction looked like this: nexcare 3.49 aquafresh kids 2.29 dixie plate 2.99 x4 = 11.96 -0.55 nexcare -1.00 aquafresh -1.30 WAGS in-ad q -2.00 (0.50x4) dixie subtotal $6.91 will submit for $3.49 nexcare MIR = $3.75 OOP including tax!! that is equal to less than the normal shelf price for one pack of plates!!! jdnsti Good deal! I picked up 8 packs of Dixie plates at RA the other night. I had a RA Q for $2/2 Ultra that was about to expire, $10 in UPS and a $3/15 survery Q. With the BOGO sale and those Q, I spent $1.72 (not sure on the change) for ovewr 300 plates! They usually don't have their shelves stocked that well to do a big transaction like that. I know there wasn't going to be anything else I needed to use the Q's on so it worked well for me.

I think Kathy did what I think I'm going to. WAGS coupon @ .99 ea (in this week's ad), MFR coupon $1.50 off (insert a couple of weeks ago, but I don't recall who) one nets free Ecotrin and possibly the overage. It's not a RR item. We prefer Ecotrin over Bayer, so, although the stockpile is good on Bayer...it will be worth the trip to WAGS. I really hadn't been shopping Wags because we didn't need anything and had no RR's... But this did catch my eye..I took the time because it was storming outside to look at the ad... Kathy, am I right?

HOUND ALERT I need a coupon for $1.50 of one oral B Pulsar or 2 indicator or cavity defense manual toothbrushes from the 5/1 P&G insert. I need it to do the CVS Oral-B indicator toothbrush $1.99 and $1.00 ECB back. Thanks! I feel like a lazy bum after reading all you guys. You guys get some fantastic deals!! We are a family of four but I just don't buy that much to begin with and I don't like buying more than we need, or can store comfortably, so I guess I will just have to live vicariously. ;D I do think that in some ways I am lucky that we only have a choice of CVS or CVS. It does hold down the impulse to shop more to score another deal.

But they expire 5/31/11 - There's no way they will get to you by then with the holiday - They wouldn't go out until they Tuesday and that's the day they expire.

WAGs: Today should be a reminder why I don't like shopping there as they were wiped out of deals and they don't carry the Ritz crackers on sale. Will Walmart price match the Right Guard BOGOF and Ecotrin deals? Would I get overage on the Ecotrin using the $1.50 Q?
Rite Aid: If anyone has the NYC Q BOGO from May's All You magazine and the $1.00 IPQ and the Wellness 20% discount, you can get 2 nail polishes for $3.18-1.59-1.00= $.59 plus tax. I used this to get my total up to $15.00 to use the 3/15 survey with my deal.
Shelly: Congratulations on the job. That's awesome!

They gave overage so I just made sure I had enough to cover the overage in the sale. The icy hot was .99 and my $1 Q beeped so she had to charge $1.00 for the icy hot instead of lowering the value of the Q (per the manager that was at the other register). That didn't make sense as the $1.50 Ecotrin Q went through but, hey, I wasn't going to complain.

It sure did simplify things. ;D I've been at my sis's the last couple of days. My DH's brother has been visiting from out of state for over a week and we've had THE BEST time.

Between the WAGs on the way home from my sister's house and my WAGs I was able to pick up (13) of the Icy Hot. OOP was paid on an old GC. $11.70 profit in RRs.
Hey, did any of you notice that the RRs were actually for $.99 and not $1. That's the first time I've seen that.

I did notice and actually commented to the cashier that it was funny the RR wasn't for $1 as they usually add the penny as in $7.99 they make the RR $8.

I'm at my husband's Grandpa's place and I am happy to be here but -dang- I feel like I'm missing out on the deals! (No Wags in this town. RA can wait 'till I get back.) I even brought my q's with me.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find a $10/$50 or some other $/$$ for Walmart or Target? I have a $50 GC from my bosses for admin day, and I want to use it to pick up some random household things for my new apartment...and my list just keeps getting longer I did get a $10/50 card for Lowes Hardware, if anyone has any use for those.

Walgreens vs Rite Aid?
On the road to our appartment there is a Walgreens and Rite Aid. Once we are done moving I will pass them every day on my way to/from work so it's not like there are out of the way.
Which one should I pick or just get a card at both? Did not look out for a CVS but will

I would definitely appreciate the lack of temptation to go WAGs hopping.
