I'm heading out now.
Befferz: The final clue isn't an exclusive or. A poster can be both a Lassi and a Rovian.
In logic terms, E (improp. subset of) [Lassi] (union) [Rovian], where E is any set in the problem.

So does this mean Lassie needs to spend more time in the sun to raise her vitamin D levels thus helping to keep her calm when dealing with you, Deb??? The things you learn.

Only a Debite Piglet Ratchling could be a Rovian. This stuff isn't contagious, is it?

Don't be silly. Only Malarkiis are carriers. I'm surprised the usual suspects (collenz, lassie, SBS, IHOP et al.) haven't jumped on the problem yet.

Deb, why are you posting your cartoons on the Virgil's Ultimate Riddle Thread? They don't have anything to do with the riddles people are trying to solve, and then they have to scroll back and forth past them to read other people's replies when they're working on solving the puzzles.

Deb ! Read my message #208 above . Now that's THREE times you've posted the same cartoon in a matter of minutes. This isn't the thread for them.

OK I see...Lassee.(<---a rhyme) There was a glitch in the posting so that after it was posted you had to download it, then if it did not down load had to click another button. So I thought it was with the browse attachment.

Could you delete posts 205 and 206 when I deleted them the cartoon was still there(would not delete) which is why it looks like I posted them 3 times.

I told Deb to do a cartoon as a more right-brained type of puzzle, SL. So please forgive her cartoons up until your warning. Deb, you should collect your future toons in a "Cartoon" thread in the games subboard. That would be neat. (And no more making me the PHB. )

Thank-you for asking SL to forgive me about posting cartoons here.
ALSO
Thank-you for the cartoon thread where I'll keep my cartoons. It means a lot to me because I never thought I'd develop that skill. Those that are familiar with me know I like to copy+paste pictures A LOT. Now the thing I like to do the most has a wonderful new dimension. and it gives me much happiness to the point of tears. Virgil, I can't thank-you enough.
I look forward to your other challenges you may give me seeing how much I've grown already this week.
I don't know the background cartoon characters...they were just a 'face'. Sorry for portraying you with an undesirable one.

One thing to point out.. cartoons = pictures in my book...i am not going to tolerate excessive amounts of those, either.. Also, rather than doing them as an attachment, host them on photobucket or something and do the link instead.. As you already noticed, when you delete a post with an attachment, the attachment stays.. the only way to get those out of there is to move them to a totally different (new) thread and then delete the thread.

No, it is not possible.
The question excludes Slowlings and Debites, so is really are all Ratchlings and Moonies that are Piglets Rovians?
But all Ratchlings are Debites, so they are excluded from the question too.
Since no Moonies are Rovians, and some Moonies are Piglets, all of the referenced Piglets cannot be Rovians.
How did I do?

"Dr. Pig: it would be in the weak nuclear range. You'd be looking at mass changes around 101 to 104 MeV/c2." LOL Virgil what did you do try and google the answer? First, I asked for a range thus your units are not even right and even if that is a typo you're about 20 orders of magnitude off. AHAHAHAH

The question excludes Debites though - ooh - I am recharged... Exactly! So either your justification isn't complete or your answer isn't correct. It helped me to draw out the solution to see if Piglets could be rovians. You are so very sweet, colleen! Ok, due to your consistency, you will be my "project" today.

It helped me to draw out the solution to see if Piglets could be rovians. I'm sorry but this isn't the way I wanted you to solve this problem. I am therefore awarding the prize to Colleen.........sorry I thought I was Virgil there for a minute.

Thanks SBS - You don't need to do anything special for me - RL is pretty good these days. ;D
The question is not if some little oinkmonsters are Rovians, but are ALL of them (except for the excluded ones) Rovians.

A noble attempt, but incorrect. A counterexample regarding your last statement: suppose A is both a Debite and a Piglet. This excludes A from the 'referenced' Piglets. Hence, some Moonies being Piglets does not necessarily prove the problem statement is false. If you're attempting to do this thing without Venn diagrams, you're got more mental moxie than I do. ;D Z particles mediate weak nuclear reactions. You didn't specify what range you wanted (which I assume is because this wasn't a serious question), and mass/energy is the obvious choice. The mass changes, which you can easily convert into delta-E values upscaling by c 2 (hence your factor of ~10 17), were taken straight off of Wolfram Alpha. If that isn't the "range" you're looking for (mean lifetime? mean free path?), perhaps you'd care to be more specific in your query.
