I never root for the Patriots. This year that has changed. Patriots over Packers. (sorry Cheesy)

I wouldn't even really call Chicago a "real" team. To unpredictable. The only team in the NFC that looks real is the Falcons, and they don't really seem too scary. Well, a lot of good looking "real" did for the Falcons on Saturday, LOL. I couldn't believe what a blowout that Packers win turned out to be; I really thought that one would be a close game whoever ended up winning. I admit of course I'm biased, but I really don't understand why so many people are shocked to see the Bears in this position and/or consider them to be a fluke. Yes, they went through a rough spot before the bye week and they've played some bad games...but they've played a lot of good ones, too. They've got a talented quarterback whose decision-making has greatly improved throughout the season, a running game that's finally formidable, an offensive line that's miraculously improved from terrible to mediocre (which is helping out both the run and the pass), and a strong defense. Throw in our excellent special teams, and while I'm not saying that the Bears are necessarily the best team in the league or anything like that, what's unreal about them? I also don't understand the people who expect the Packers to destroy the Bears this weekend. IMHO, it'll be a close game either way. I can understand picking the Packers to win, but I think the odds are against either team winning by a comfortable margin. Say what you will about how good the Packers look right now (and they do, as much as it pains me to admit it), they only beat us by 7 points three weeks ago in a must-win game for them when the Bears had nothing to play for. I don't see either team winning by more than 7, if that, on Sunday.

I am most definitely a BEARS fan. While this team cannot compare to the "85 team they certainly have been the luckiest BEARS team ever. IMO they have played well since the bye. Prior to the bye they should have won at least a couple of those games. Did the Seahawks really think they were playing the same team from earlier in the season?. Except for the Patriots game they never took a real beat down. IMO the BEARS are the only team that has controlled Rogers & GB. I hope they win this Sunday, but it should be interesting. If and when they can get past GB its on to the SB45 and hope they get to play the Jets because REX has run out of luck.

Same as the last Super Bowl they won! Nobody ever talks about the Steeler's, preseason or post season.. But they always show up!

I forget which game the Bears lost, but they looked so bad, that I proclaimed, "they will not win another game this year". I was serious, and believed it. I thought Lovie would get fired mid season, as they looked that inept. They really looked that bad. I cannot remember if it was when they played the Giants, and were embarassed, or not. The offensive line was so bad, the defensive players were hitting the Quarterback in the pocket, before he got in the pocket. It is truly amazing what they have accomplished since the bye week. They played two very strong games against Green Bay, with both sides dominating on the defensive side of the ball. Last week the Bears keyed offensively on Olsen in pass receptions. Olsen had been ignored in the offense for several weeks, and I think the Bears decided to key on him last Sunday, to fool the SeaHawks. I honestly believe it the passes will be going to someone else this week. Possibly Johnny Moss, or Mister Insane, Devin Hester. We will wait and see........ Bears 20 Green Bay, 17, maybe 18

I cannot remember if it was when they played the Giants, and were embarassed, or not. It was probably the Giants game...I believe the Giants set an NFL record for most sacks in a half. (Of course, the games against the Seahawks and Redskins were ugly, too, but the Giants game was definitely the low point of the season.) I think the Bears lost only 17-3 or something like that, but really it wasn't as close as the score would suggest. Agreed that after that game, the idea that we would be in the NFC championship game this year seemed like a crazy one. I think the job Mike Tice has done with our offensive line has been nothing short of astounding. He basically took a terrible offensive line and made them into a decent one. It's still probably one of our weakest spots, but they've been good enough to allow the run to get going and to give Cutler time to make some good throws without getting hit too much. Value Buy, I definitely see the score of Sunday's game being in the 20-17 range, or maybe 17-14. I don't think either offense is going to get a chance to run up the score and I would bet a lot of money on this being a close game, whoever wins. I know there are a lot of Packer fans predicting a blowout win but I would be shocked. They only beat us by 7 points when they needed that game to make the playoffs and we were basically calling vanilla plays the whole game (not making excuses for the loss, but come on - it's a big stretch to look at that game and say the Packers are unquestionably the better team).

Well, my prediction for the score of yesterday's game wasn't too far off, though it never really looked as close as it was the way the Bears offense got outplayed. Cutler getting knocked out of the game sure didn't help. Hope I don't injure myself jumping up on the Steelers bandwagon now. Nothing can ease the pain of losing the NFC championship to the Packers, but if they win the Super Bowl living in Wisconsin will be totally insufferable for the next year.

Since my original predicution was half wrong (I did say the Packers were going to the SB), I will now go with the safe pick. Pittsburg over GB. (sorry Cheesy).

<<< You shouldn't have to do that! That was a blow out! >>> ...only in the 1st half... they beat us 19-0 in the 2nd... so thankful for that extra 5 from before... we are so silly to let our guards down early and take leads for granted... yuck! <<< Since my Packers beat the Bears, looks like its me and you in the Superbowl! >>> ...we have 2weeks to rest, and we'll need it to play you guys...

Yeah, the Jets did "come back to life" in the 2nd half, but it was too little... too late.
I think I'll grab me some popcorn too. (where is that dang popcorn emoticon when you need it? Oh well, I'll pop some when I get home).
