As much as it pains me to say it, unless something changes drastically in the next few weeks I think the New England Patriots are darn near unbeatable. Then again, they looked unbeatable in 2007 and we all know what happened then.
I'm a die-hard Bears fan and I think if they play good games in the playoffs, they have a shot at making it to the Super Bowl. I don't think there's any team in the NFC that they couldn't beat, though again that depends on how they play. I've been really encouraged by how they've looked the past few weeks, with the exception of that game against the Patriots.

well, in 2007, NYG clearly wanted it more. you could tell just watching the game. as much as it pains me to say that. I like the Falcons from the NFC. they have been flying under the radar all season, and putting up some scary results too. oh, and the back story for the media is right there too - Matty Ice cut his Div-I undergrad teeth right in the Patriots backyard at Boston College. that said, Pats to win.

I've got a soft spot for the Bears. That said, I don't think they'll win the Super Bowl because of a Big-Game-Freak-Out syndrome they've suffered through these past few years. I'd love to be proved wrong, however.

Well, I have to say Eagles since I'm a fan, but I don't see it happening.

It's hard to say right now. Atlanta is playing great and the Saints are coming into their own. I don't see the Bears making it that far because of their offense. I wouldn't count NO out either with the way they've been playing late in the season.
On the other side, NE is playing well, but it depends on which defense shows up in the playoffs. I'm not sure how is going to make it in the AFC South since a Colts win puts there there, but a Colts loss and a Jags win gives the Jags a better division record. I don't think anybody wants to play the Colts in the playoffs, even with them being as injured as they are because it doesn't seem to matter how many points they fall behind in a game, they make it a game...although the Colts defense is playing better than it has in past years (although I think that is more due to the offense not playing as well and teams playing with a lead as opposed to the defense playing better), they still have a pretty weak defense. If the Jags make it in, they are such a streaky team, but not one to take lightly.
The Steelers are always a dangerous team, especially when their defense plays as well as they can play and their offense can put up numbers.

Don't forget a seriously injured Colts team came pretty close to beating the Pats earlier, and that was with guys just coming up from the practice squad. Of course the Pats defense is playing better now. I'm not so sure about the Packers over Atlanta either.

I thoroughly dislike the Patriots, only becase Deminmaine likes them.
Unfortunately, they are the only truely, strong team out there this year. Watching the head coaches on the sidelines, who the heck does not look like they have their "deer in the headlights" look other then their coach. His eyes, look like they could stare anyone down to a defeat all by himself, without the team taking the field....... He truly is the headlight everyone else sees. And I would bet, he wishes the NYG were in the post season this year, just to rub them out this time.

Deminmaine, the highlight of my football happiness was Da Bears, in the Super Bowl. Remember who they played?

My only hope this year, is there is not a rematch. Got to have an Upset in the AFC.

I have to say the Steelers, because they are my boys for life! But the Pats are always dangerous. I am not liking the Colts at all this year, they haven't looked great (well, not as great as they usually look) but you never know. I think a Steelers/Pats AFC Championship game. I would prefer a Steelers/other team though because then we would have home field advantage! For the NFC, I have to agree with the Packers. Philly was good until the end of the season and I hate Michael Vick with a passion so I hope they get eliminated early. I don't mind the Saints, but I mind the fans. Of course, the 7-9 Seahawks could take it all. But most likely not.

Packers over eagles Saints over seahawks Packers over Atlanta Bears over Saints Packers beat the bears in NFC Championship game. Eagles are slumping, seahawks just are not good, atlanta suffers from inexperience and time off, saints don't have the ground game to compete in coldweather chicago. Packers D is on a roll, their offense has the potential to put up big points and they haven't really been pounded in a game this year, everything has been close with stupid mistakes costing them games-two overtime losses, lost to lions and pats with rodgers out (should have won both anyways) and played atlanta tough. I think they finally eliminate the mistakes and get to the ship. Ravens over Chiefs Colts over Jets Ravens over Pats Steelers over colts ravens over steelers The AFC is tough although I think the ravens have the formula to beat the patriots, by running the football and controlling the clock. Ravens don't make the mistakes in the championship game and win. Not a fan of the jets, colts just don't have the personel to be competitive with the steelers, chiefs were a good story but inexperience hurts. Pats are vunerable to teams that controll the clock and keep brady off the field, defense is young and it will show. Super Bowl goes to Greenbay although they have trouble running the football at times, defensively right now I don't think their is anyone better. Rodgers is a stud and has so many weapons that he can stretch the field to open the running game. Both conference championship games will be dogfights, all four teams cold weather and tough defenses. but i could be wrong

1st round Eagles > Packers - could see it going either way though but the Packers are bad on the road and still have no run game. Saints > Seahawks - the spread says it all Ravens > Chiefs Colts > Jets - the Colts barely beat a checked out TN team and it took a Kerry Collins fumble and a decimated Jags team to hand them that game and a chance in the playoffs. That said, I think they find a way to beat the Jets.
2nd round Bears > Eagles - still not convinced about the Bears team and think this could go the other way. But, I'm concerned about the loss of Bradley for the Eagles and think it catches up to them. Saints > Falcons - Saints have been there, done that and are getting healthy and playing good at the right time. Steelers > Colts - See above about the TN game. The Steelers are better than the Jets, despite the loss to them earlier. Patriots > Ravens - The Pats are a much different team than in week 6.
NFC championship - Saints > Bears. See above about Saints [healthy]. See above about Bears [overrated]
AFC championship - Pats > Steelers. I think it will be closer than the first match up of these two teams. Should be a really good game.
Superbowl - Pats > Saints.

Ravens fan here. Our offensive line stinks, but if they can somehow get it together I have some hope!

[/size] You clearly have no respect for the Ravens. You have the Chiefs over the Raiders this week.

Ravens have sucked against the run this year. Chiefs have the best running game in the league.

Ravens are 5th in the league and 1 of only 6 teams giving up less than 100 ypg on the ground. That's not to say KC won't run all over them because they do have the best run game but it should be an interesting match up.
I think the Ravens are more suspect in the air and think the Bowe, Moeaki combo with Charles out of the backfield might be more troublesome for the Ravens.
And the Ravens offense has looked woeful these past several weeks - as my fantasy team with Flacco and Boldin can attest.

In all the games I've seen, they've looked pretty crappy against the run. I could be wrong.
