The J, you are wrong on this one. The Ravens are good at defending the run. Our biggest problem is our offensive line. They suck and is a huge part of the reason our offensive numbers are so poor. Not to mention how we can't finish a game strong. However...any given Sunday.

The inability of the defense to finish the game strong is problematic when you're going against a great rushing attack that will wear you out faster than normal.

Well, the reason the defense can't finish strong is because they are pooped out! If the offensive line steps it up and gives Joe some protection, the offense can stay on the field longer. Then the defense will be able to finish strong.

If the Seahawks win it all, they will be 11-9. Wow.

I've got a soft spot for the Bears. That said, I don't think they'll win the Super Bowl because of a Big-Game-Freak-Out syndrome they've suffered through these past few years. Really? I'd have to go back and look at specific results, but IMHO they suffer from the opposite problem: they play pretty well against good teams and shoot themselves in the foot against bad teams. I don't really fault them for losing the Super Bowl a few years ago against a clearly superior Colts team (and it was a competitive game, not like they blew us out by 35 points), and for the last three years they haven't had a chance to appear in the playoffs more because of lousy play all around than because of choking in big games. Looking at this year, they were shockingly bad against the Lions twice and lucky to escape with wins (yes, I know the Lions aren't the terrible team they were before this year, but they were still 6-10), bad against the Redskins and Seahawks (and lost), and barely beat the Cowboys and Bills. All of those teams finished with losing records. Of the good teams they played, they got killed by the Giants and the Patriots, beat the Jets, the Eagles, and the Packers (once), and then lost to the Packers in the last game. I still don't know what to think of that one...without taking credit away from the Packers for beating us, it seems like the coaching staff was more interested in disguising their postseason plays than winning the game, despite the fact that the starters played. The Bears were doing great with the run (I remember Forte ripping off back-to-back double-digit runs in the first half) and then they totally abandoned it...plus Cutler was back to throwing the kinds of dumb passes he seemed to have finally learned not to. Anyway, I still feel like the Bears have a shot at making it to the Super Bowl, but it's hard for me to say that anyone has a shot at beating the Patriots, in either conference.

...and maybe, just maybe, another NY team will upset the Pats... it could happen, especially since they think it can...

The Pats look unstoppable this year, I think this will be the year Pittsburgh loses to the Ravens in the playoffs. Green Bay is my dark horse but Atlanta looks like its got the inside track to meet the Pats in the Super Bowl.

Who wins between Chicago and Seattle? Remember, the Seahawks beat them already earlier this season, but both are completely different teams now.

Seahawk quarterback already wants GreenBay to win, so they can have the NFC Championship game in Seattle. Ain't going to happen.... Upsets are now over, and the cream will rise to the top.

I think this will be the year Pittsburgh loses to the Ravens in the playoffs. Love the way you think! Well most of it, Ravens can play whoever in the Super Bowl.

I wouldn't either. Rex is looking for his revenge.

I don't like your prediction Taxman! How about you change that to the Jets losing to the Ravens for the AFC title.

As a Ravens fan I'm really looking forward to Saturday's game. They are two similar and evenly matched teams in my opinion. I do think the winner is going to be beat up after so I'm hoping The Jets and The Pats put a hurting on one another.

I love Sanchito but I don't see anyway that the Jets can win in New England unless they completely self-destruct in bad weather. The Seahawks had their fun, its time for the real teams to step to the plate and win games. In the AFC three teams have a shot at the Super Bowl and in the NFC only two.

I don't know. I wouldn't even really call Chicago a "real" team. To unpredictable. The only team in the NFC that looks real is the Falcons, and they don't really seem too scary. AFC is winning the SB this year.

I know I'm a little late on this one, but what was Caldwell thinking when he called that last timeout to give the Jets more time to figure out which play to call?
