Umm, no. Skunk = mammal. Chicken = fowl. No matey. Not happenin'!  yeah, we all figured out it was a big steaming stinking pile from the bottom of the chicken coop, but I figure he'll be back later to stroke his ego over how he 'got' everyone. I still think it's creepy and just weird that he's that into the sex lives of skunks.....  What really worries me is that he might be into the sex life of chickens! At least, skunks are mammals! |

This thread is pretty funny so far!
I am married in my 40's, no kids but very adorable spoiled neices and nephews. I am a lab tech in food manufactoring, like my job but wish I could play in the garden more like steff. Afraid to spill to much as I may need to complain about co-workers, relatives from time to time and don't want to be "outed" in case they find this place.
steff-- I of course think it's great that you are home with kids and wonder if that could be an upside to this crazy economy, more parents at home interacting with kids. That means no disrespect to moms that work outside the home.

What really worries me is that he might be into the sex life of chickens! At least, skunks are mammals! LoL....you may be on to something.... he was awfully knowledgable about what sperm does to a chicken's eggs.... If you ever saw the TV special "The Beginning of Life" (I think that was the name of it), those sperm aren't the brightest things on earth. They swim in circles, go the wrong way, run into each other, and generally indulge in uncontrolled chaos until somebody gets lucky enough to find an egg. If any of them happened on a chicken egg instead of a human egg, they'd probably all swoon and need to be cared for to get back on their tails! |

Ahh. We're introducing ourselves, I see. With new folks coming from other subject areas to check out our new bulls ... ermm ... chat board, I guess I should do the same: I'm a nurse practitioner living in South Carolina. I'm 69 and still working as a hospital nursing supervisor, as well as volunteering at a local clinic and filling in for our hospitalists now and again. I live in western South Carolina, and have two grown kids (daughter is 50, son is 48) with families of their own. Three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild on the way (due in September). My 89-year-old mother lives with me. My husband of 37 years passed away several years ago. Good to have new folk stopping by!  |

Well, I think this thread is a good idea and a long time coming for P&M. You can only do so much battling before it drives you looney. I like knowing that the wingnut of the day who is driving me bonkers is a real person on the inside. ;D
I am Meghan, I'm 29-years-old and my BF and I moved in together after knowing each other four months (this was almost four years ago). So far, he is not a serial killer. I'm medical editor, I don't take myself seriously, and I have a cat named Katt. Also, the Flyers are giving me a heart attack.

You realize that any political views help by any of us will be trivialized after posting on this frivolous thread? not necessarily....sometimes you just know too much about someone and they about you.... and it's never going to go away or change. I don't have a long history here. I try to keep it pretty light although I do have some strong opinions about some things. I kind of like getting to know who I'm arguing/agreeing with sometimes. Helps at times to remember there are real people behind the words. |
