Funny you mention dogs though. I did happen to catch someone hitting a dog several months ago. I just happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye as I was driving. I stopped my car in the middle of the street and confronted him and called the police. I was fully prepared to go head to head with this man. I was also prepared to take the dog off his hands.

Luckily the dog owner came home in the middle of me screaming at the man. Turns out he knows him and it was a guest at the house he lives in. He assured me he'd deal with the man. The police didn't really seem to care about it, but nobody drew any kind of weapon. I would have totally thrown hands if need be. See, I'm not a 🐱, so didn't need a gun.

Technically, they don't have the right to work here, but they keep getting hired.

It's been suggested multiple times that we make people on welfare work those jobs.  Bonus is not only do the wages not have to be raised for those jobs or provide humane working conditions but we get to punish poor people!

And we can take pride that it's our own homegrown slavery in all but name class of workers instead of importing them.

They'll never receive any entitlement programs like American citizens do. So they're basically paying into a system for us that they'll never collect from. We would see a huge economic issue if they just disappeared tomorrow. Look at how Florida is suffering under Ron D's immigration stance. Where are the Americans stepping up to take over those jobs? There are none. Florida is circling the drain and will likely collapse at some point if they can't get someone else to replace him.

Human decency doesn't have to be written in the constitution to exist. But point out where in the constitution it says that if you're undocumented you just have to die. I'll wait.
