just paid another $1,500 in taxes to the feds. they disallowed some deductions from about (10) years ago. did i fight it? yes. i did. for years. but at a certain point, the cost of the debate is higher than the price to pay.

Just so I have this straight, you are so happy with the AA decision, but yet you are perfectly happy your grandkids can cheat to get "scholarships" that should go to someone more deserving by lying on their form. You should be so proud of your daughter for suggesting that. Sounds like she was brought up in a good Christian conservative home. All I will say is that every good parent should/will do what they can to help their children get ahead. Liberal, conservative whoever. My ex wife and I did. My daughter went to catholic schools from preschool thru high school. We used my lower income to fill out financial papers for college. Was that wrong? And before you jump on me, are you so without sin you can cast the first stone?? You've never helped your child get a edge on something??
My daughter got her Bachelors degree in business and a Mrs. degree and is doing quite well. So I guess my "cheating" paid off. Again, THIS is why conservatives accuse everyone else of gaming the system 🤨
