I think the complex legal aspects of trying this case will override any political aspects which push for a quicker trial.

But a review of Cannon’s criminal cases since she took the bench in late 2020 suggests this is standard practice for the Florida-based judge. She typically sets trial dates six to eight weeks from the start of a case, only to allow weeks- or months-long delays as issues arise and the parties demand more time to prepare. link

My 18 year old son packed kinda like that when coming home from the dorm. He literally opened trash bags and threw stuff in there - clothing, computer wires and keyboard, dishes. It was crazy. But, I would like to think that the President of the USA had help packing by professionals that would follow at least some thoughtful process.

He said on Fox News they had to pack quickly because there was time pressure. If the dolt had accepted his loss in November like every other 1 term President, he would have had plenty of time. Heck, even if he accepted defeat on January 7th they could have gotten everything out neatly. He makes it sound like it was a Dolly Madison-esq grab and run in the middle of the night thing. It was not.

I remember hearing stories about idiot not reading his briefing materials and just tossing the sheets on the floor or in the garbage. Why did he suddenly get so interested in all these documents? He did not pack all those documents in boxes and they were not stored in his bedroom anywhere near his clothes. He had to tell people to go get the boxes from wherever and ship them to his hut. Why?

You may think that I do not. I read a couple of his ghost-written books. I watched the first few seasons of Apprentice. If you read Mary's book there was no separation of personal life and business life. His dad promoted business life was life in general which is why Trump decided at a young age he would steamroll over his brother and any family member who got in his way.

He undid nothing. He had a habit even years ago to eat incriminating paperwork.

I guarantee he and Melania have plenty of staff to pack up their luggage for them as they traverse between all their various properties, loading in the suitcases and golf clubs and hat boxes for them - zero chance Trump is scooping up sweaty polo shirts and newspaper clippings and nuclear secrets and throwing them into banker’s boxes like some hung over college student trying to vacate a dorm room.
