Is it because you never clean out your email? Like the is years’ worth of emails? Do you need to read them? Can you press “select all” and then delete them all at once? I realize now that previous attempts to delete some of them have failed. I tried “select all” to delete everything in one email account. They also all came back and had had babies. @pink Cashmere - check to see if there is a button that says keep a copy of my deleted emails that may be on. I had this happen once and that button was clicked.

ah, rainy Monday. at least it's warm enough to have all the windows open and the heat off. the pups have both curled up to nap while I work. I have that trial on streaming for background noise, and there's gonna be a spicy argument later today about one of the first responders having perjured herself on the stand. daisylu - I hope you can tune in today.

I have made one of two phone calls I have to make today. I did the easy one.
Trying to figure out how I work in lab work this week. I've already eaten today.

Planning and confirming my trip to Denver Friday. I'm going to bake nissu on Thursday to bring to DS as a combo birthday "cake" and present. It's a loaf of braided sweet bread flavored with cardamom. It's Finnish and not available generally. Not sure what else to get him if anything. He's a minimalist who buys what he needs or really wants.

I looked at the settings and I don’t see anything like that Sometime today I’m going to get on my computer and log into my email on the web and delete from there. Then I am going to delete the accounts on my devices and add them back. If the problem persists after that, I’m just going to bail on the email accounts because it’s ridiculous. Thanks for trying to help!

Starting from a computer will hopefully help. You might have some sort of backup set by error on the other devices.

I did some early errands this morning, as I'm still searching for makeup for DD's wedding. I went to Ulta right when they opened, and found 1. nail polish that will go very well with my dress and 2. an alternative lipstick color that will work nicely if I decide the first one I've already purchased doesn't go with everything else I've got. I don't remember sweating the details so much, even when I got married. Of course, every color goes with a white dress, so maybe that's why it seemed easier back then.

A neutral look goes with everything. Colourpop makes a palette that you can create a simple look with or a dramatic smoky eye. They have all kinds of variations of it if you prefer something darker/warmer, etc. It's good quality too. If you buy it at Ulta and don't like it, you can take it back. www.ulta.com/p/nude-mood-pressed-powder-palette-pimprod2013765?sku=2561411

Pulled into Seward this morning and are docked across from Norwegian Jewel. Much, much bigger than us. We are here for 2 days.
We are going to an aquarium this morning, but not until 11. Once again, I saw the very early morning hours and didn’t get any decent sleep until after 3 am. This is not normal for me, so it is driving me nuts.

And, I'm reading through the full travel team DD1 wants to do. It's her only shot to do it. And, I have no idea how the hell we are going to make it work. Travel team for what? Just curious! My 9-year-old DD does travel softball and loves it (we spent all weekend at a tournament and this morning she said 'I don't want to go to school today, I want to play softball.' So, she's not burned out yet haha!). It's one practice/week throughout the winter and then about 4-5 tournament weekends in the spring/summer. This weekend's tournament was only 20 minutes away, but last weekend's was an hour and 20 minutes. It is a lot to manage! We basically have something softball-related every night from mid-April through mid-July (my 7yo is on a different softball team - just the local little league - and that makes it more involved).

I haven't worn makeup in so long, I wouldn't even know where to start. The "look" has definitely changed since I wore makeup regularly, LOL. When DD had a session to try out a look before her wedding, they gave her brows some color, which my generation never used to do. I'm getting my makeup professionally done the day of the event, but they encourage you to bring things you personally like, for example lipstick, blush, etc.

Seriously, there are other travel parents who will help. I have had many seasons of having extra kids in my cars and camping trailer and hotel rooms. Sign up for the sport and it will work out.

same!! so what you missed this morning, before the jury came in, the defense got up to further object to photos not being allowed in* last week for the purpose of impeaching the testimony of the one lady EMT who happens to be very good friends with the daughter of the homeowner. ICYMI - her answer to the prosecution when asked if she knew C was to say that "there was a girl named CA in my class, sure" and the defense came up with a stack of FB pics over the years, of the EMT and CA all buddy buddy. well, this am, defense showed up with another stack of pics that had been sent in from various people, showing the EMT and CA together as recently as a baby shower during COVID and all buddy buddy. really? that's an acquaintance? yikes. oh, and CA is also on the witness list.....so the defense wanted to make clear that this was coming up again, and could we have a side hearing about it today? *the reason the photos weren't allowed was called a discovery violation by the judge. defense argued that the sole purpose of the photos was for impeachment of witness testimony and doesn't fall under the rules of discovery like other facts pertinent to the actual crime. swamp - thoughts? also, sorry/TIA.....I'm probably gonna tag you a few more times before all of this is over.

I think the judge is wrong.
The photos would not be allowed in the case in chief, but they should be able to be used for impeachment.

"case in chief" being the direct defense? yes, that was my understanding of how the Rule 14 (in MA, anyway) was explained by defense in the further objection this morning. this particular EMT lied her ass off her whole testimony, from photos I've actually seen myself. these townie that think they are untouchable still had wide-open public FB pages as recently as a year ago.
oh, and FWIW, the defense had asked the judge to recuse herself and she declined. there's proof of a Venmo payment to her and her DH for their Cape summer cottage, from one of the kids in that EMT's friend circle in the last couple of years. it's all such a twisted townie story, and having spent grade school as an outsider, I can't wait to see it all come crashing down on the cool kids. b/c this lady did not kill her bf.

My day has not gone as planned. No surprise there.
I did clean the kitchen. I intended to clean my bedroom but I quickly got sidetracked dealing with my side of the closet. I moved some of my winter clothes to the closet in the wannabe man cave, straightened up my shoes and filled a box with shoes to throw away while I was doing that. I also added a few more clothing items to a bag I’ve started for the Goodwill or wherever.
Now I’m tired and want to sit on my butt. I might do a little more after a while.
Both trash bins were full last week from me throwing stuff away from all over the house. If I stay on track with decluttering, they will probably be full every week for a while. We still had a large almost full bag of puppy pads from when Boy was a puppy. My coworker has a small 17yo dog that she uses puppy pads for, so I took her the bag last week. I also gave DS some Nikes I ordered that were way too big for me and I never returned. I was glad he could wear them because I paid over $100 on sale for them. So, I will give away what I can, but a lot of shit is going in the garbage.
Mister is not going to be happy when I get around to tackling the garage. We are going to have to do it together because it’s mostly his crap that’s all over everywhere. He wasn’t happy the first time I did it, because I insisted he go through all of his crap and organize, and I sat outside and watched him. That was less than a year after we moved here, when I bought the shelves and stuff to try to keep the garage neat. It is even worse now.
