I love their store - we went there last year while we were on a trip and the guys are fabulous. They did not have what I was looking for on clearance, but they gave me a 50% discount, which was better than what they had on clearance. Hope you enjoy your bag. I'm not a leather aficionado by any means but I do like this company. It's my second bag from them (I have the medium zipper tote) and I like that they use hides that would otherwise go to waste. Makes me feel a little better, being someone who doesn't eat meat buying a leather bag, lol.

I am still waiting on the internet guy. But I think he has fixed something, the speed is better and the picture is better. If so, he will come by and tell me or call at some point. I found an obscure looking Filmrise site and it has lots of movies, some pretty decent it appears.
So, while I couldn't go to the basement and sew I cleaned my refrigerator. Not thrilled with doing it but it rates above dusting for me and boy did it need it. I also cleaned the inside and the outside of the kitchen window. Like Welts had to climb on top of my countertop to do it. That window is way above the ground and takes a tall ladder in the middle of a hosta bed so easier from the inside. They both crank out.
I also have the inside cleaned of the bird poop windows in the office area. I need to pop the screens off and lower the tops on the outside so I can clean them. 2 of the screens have gross stuff on them also. Thankfully, the 3rd didn't have a screen on it. It's the worst one.
And I have been craving bean soup for several days now so decided to cook some. I wanted pinto beans, thought I had some but no only great northern and navy beans, so navy it is. I had to turn the AC down as it is really heating up the house. or was.

that's a nice bag and the price is right for leather. What colour did you get? Sunflower I love it in Meadow. I wonder if they ship to Canada and how much more it would cost.

Saturday when Mister’s Dad was here, when he asked if my water was liquor, Mister actually had a small glass on the kitchen counter with some liquor in it. He drinks scotch and bourbon straight. I could smell that it was liquor while I was getting my water. So at one point, Dad wanders in the kitchen and sometime later. Then when he was being all loud and complaining in the middle of the night, he tells Mister he “accidentally” drank out of his glass, thinking it was his. Well the only thing Dad had been drinking was water, because that was all we had in the refrigerator to drink. So, how did he think some brown liquor was his glass? And if I could smell it just being near the counter, how could he not smell it when he raised it to his face? Anyway, he said he accidentally drank it, but he didn’t swallow it, he spit it back out. Mister said you spit it back in my glass?! He said uh, no, I swallowed it. Mister told me about it yesterday. This morning Brother hears their Dad on the phone telling somebody that Mister gave him some liquor this weekend. Mister hadn’t told Brother what Dad had done, but he knew Mister wouldn’t give his Dad liquor, so he interrupted Dad’s conversation and was like “Dad stop. I know Mister didn’t give you any liquor. Did you really drink some liquor” and Dad started stuttering because the person was still on the phone and said “well he didn’t give it to me, I accidentally drank it”. Reason numbers 1001 and 2 why I feel some type of way about him being over here. I entertain games with Kiddo and my grandchildren, not with old men. Oh lordt, that is a lot to deal with.

It is cheaper for them to have it shipped to my house and have me ship it to them via UPS than to have it shipped to Canada straight from the company. That makes no sense.

I wanted to go swimming a few times this week, but I just dyed my hair Saturday night. Very pale ash blonde. Evidently, I have to avoid chlorine for a least a week, or it could turn green. With dark dye, you wait three days.

This evening I'm attending a lecture by Dr. Zahi Hawass on ancient Egypt: zahilectures.com/. I've always loved archeology and Eyptology and was excited about this tour. My husband is out-of-town, and I don't have any friends who share my interest, so I was sad to miss this opportunity because I didn't want to go by myself. Then I thought "why not"? So, I bought one ticket and am looking forward to a fabulous evening

No, seriously, hear me out of this. Sometimes the fries in poutine get soggy under the gravy. If you use tater tots, they stay crunchy. I was hesiatant too, but it is surprisingly good. Oy! What kind of cheese do you use? Velveeta? Oh god no!!! Now that's sacrireligious. Fresh Cheese curd. The squeakier, the better. Although provolone will work in a pinch.

I found typed papers in one of the steamer trunks in my Great grandma's basement yesterday. Turns out she wrote poetry. I had no idea. I found one she wrote about my dad when he was a baby and gave it to him. Hope I didn't break him again. I also discovered at one point in her life she got involuntarily committed! She went to the doctor and asked about having depression. He assured her they would run tests, sent her to the hospital and next thing she knew she was in the mental ward. JFC. Then she was writing about her relationship with God. She documented her experiences with birthing my grandmother and GU. That was both touching and heartbreaking. Despite everything she did truly love them and my dad. I had no idea GU was a blue baby. I knew he was premature but not born blue. That means my Great Grandmother was likely Rh negative which they wouldn't have really known about back then. Grandma is also Rh negative . My dad was born before Rhogam so he's an only child due to the risks. I am not sure if my dad is A negative or not. Not sure about my mom either. I know one of them is because my mom had to have the shot with both of us. Either way both of them have to be carrying at least one negative allele otherwise I would have been A positive. So somewhere in my mom's direct line is someone or two someone's who were A negative and passed the allele down to her. Science! ‘Blue’ babies have a heart defect Rh neg reaction from a neg mom and a positive baby results in red blood cell destruction- jaundice My sister had this and brain damage as a result. Our youngest also had a problem but ductirs were able to exchange his blood and he was fine. I had been sensitized by first baby so too late fur Rhogam shot to help

He also had pneumonia at only a few days old and was put in an incubator. This was one of the very first ones that came out that ran on 100% oxygen. It's why he has the problems with his eyes that he does. Which is sad to know but also good to know because I was concerned those issues may be genetic. Same with my grandfather's brain tumor. That was environmental which makes you wonder what he was exposed to as a marine in the Korean War and during boot camp. Or any of the other million things from the 50s/60s we now know can kill you.

Just leave your weed home. it's legal on both sides of the border but you can't bring it with you.

I would go to the US all the time, Vermot, New York, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, California, Florida, etc. Then 9/11 happened and everything changed. People who have had legal issues are no longer allowed in.

This law has NOT changed. curious if you know this answer (I could probably google it, but it's not all that important at the moment) but has Canada's policy on people with DUIs changed at all? I've got a couple friends that have them in their histories. one's telling me he can't get in to Canada at all, the other says 10 years. I've never had to worry about that, so I honestly don't know.

So weird. I tried them both on my phone first, which took me to my app, and this morning on the laptop - both worked fine. I only tried it on my phone. It sounds like that's the problem. I'll try it on my PC later, if I'm not too lazy, like I am now. 😏

Amazon brought me a package, usually they leave it on the freezer. But the kitties left the snake between there and the garage door. They left the package on the floor by the garage door, LOL! I have a feeling they left quickly.
I am eating some of my soup, but think about 20 minutes more would make it softer. Sure tastes good though with pepperoncini's in it.

I have a friend in Canada whose husband sometimes orders fan memorabilia from US companies. It is cheaper for them to have it shipped to my house and have me ship it to them via UPS than to have it shipped to Canada straight from the company. That makes no sense. I live on the border. That's what my niece in law does now that I won't lie on the customs form. She was wanting me to put $20US on items that had the invoice in them for $350 US.

The snake is dead, its a harmless one. But they have batted it all over out there. They seem to be very proud of themselves catching prey. I used to use different kinds of window cleaners and none of them were completely streak free. I quit and now just use water, cleaning vinegar, and ammonia, it does a great job. And I only use vinegar in my fabric softener dispenser in the washer. Even though I didn't get my pinto beans, a big positive of navy beans is they cook way faster, so shouldn't be too long till they are done. I could use the Ninja cooker, but I like the flavor better of the ones that have been boiled and simmered better. Just have more flavor. Ever once in awhile I just have to go in and look in my clean fridge, LOL! I really need to do the freezer drawer too. I think it's been even longer since that one has been cleaned. That's the problem with a rodent infestation - you have mice or rats, you will have snakes. Too bad the cats are killing your first line of defense against rodents. I think Welts was asking if you ended the snake's suffering rather than just let cats continue to hurt it. You did say it was alive when you first found the cat with it. Not blaming the cats-they are predators.
