Charts and graphs shows a snapshot of a certain set of parameters. They definitely don't include everyone. As far as politics I think both sides are becoming assholes. Who can rile up their base more. It shows just in the postings on this board, and I mean both sides. charts and graphs show parameters that most Americans felt. i never said all. as far as your second remark goes, i certainly hope you don't think i am an asshole for pointing out the FACT that most Americans do better under Democrats than Republicans. that is what the statistics show. i am not an asshole for pointing out the facts, any more than you are an asshole for highlighting how terrific you have done under Republicans.

If the demand is there for a given product, then it doesn't matter if the company sells the product for cheaper, some middle man will scoop it up and then resell it for the price that people are willing to pay. this is the "perfect market" presumption. it is absolute horsepucky. it barely works for commodities. it doesn't work at all for poorly distributed regional goods, which is what most consumption consists of. there is also a limitation of willing, and that is ABLE.

No not during this chatter. I have read quite a bit over the past years before jumping in and seen lots of crap go back and fourth. Usually just what about isms. Name calling etc.... Very unproductive.

Very unproductive. not a big fan of whataboutisms. we can share anecdotes until we all wither and die. won't change a damned thing. nor will it provide a clear picture of what is actually happening. for example, the steady wage erosion of the bottom 50%
