Some posters born after 1964 have an awful habit of assuming any white person complaining who is older and "less enlightened" than you must be a Boomer. Generations are stupid and virtually have no meaning. I will call it out forever much like POC call out things, etc. It's as if some posters are so fixated on their life and forward, they don't realize all the things that happened to get us where we are today. And here I thought they were just people born between 1946 and 1964. Then again, I'm not a boomer. Also, what does the year that someone was born in have to do with race? Your post made absolutely no sense.

I am old and not a fan of hip hop/rap but I really enjoyed it! (I watched it on youtube afterwards, I have absolutely ZERO interest in football). I have a soft spot for Eminem so I especially enjoyed Lose Yourself and Mary J Blige who looked AMAZING!
I thought Eminem was FABULOUS for taking the knee. It was well-deserved, and fitting that for once it was "the token white guy" who did it. It would have been more controversial if the others had done it, so I'm guessing they decided Eminem would "take one for the team". But the point was still made!
PS I recognized everybody but 50 Cent. I am 62 (so a late Boomer).

I remember watching some show in the early 2000's, maybe MTV cribs, and there were bowls full of rolled joints ready to go in Snoop's entryway. This was way before legalization.

I wasn't a fan, but I didn't know the songs and couldn't hear any of the words. I'm a listener of 80's big hair bands.

Did anyone else think that Eminem was especially sexy? I've always thought he was but he's aging quite well and looked very good IMO.

Isn't a pearl necklace a form of sexual anarchy? Asking for a friend.

Isn't a pearl necklace a form of sexual anarchy? Asking for a friend. Nay, that’s pretty standard. But I guess it would be for someone like Charlie Kirk who only does it Saturday evenings at 8, missionary position, lights off.

This is what swamp wrote, that I replied to- From various comments on fb from melanin challenged boomers, it’s the end of civilization as we know it.
Melanin challenged is usually code for white people as we have the least melanin compared to other races. So being that I hate generalizations especially generations, I did wonder how she could actually know for certain that the comments she was reading were even from Boomers, let alone no one I know was saying or posting crap like that. The end of the Boom are my contemporaries, I happen to know hundreds of them. Like WTE, rap and hip hop started in the 1970s. I wasn't even a teen at the start of that.

I'm guessing that she knows that they are old ass white people because she knows some of them or maybe they have profile pics. It's not really hard to figure out who is who on social media unless they are a troll. Wait. Are you a troll?

From various comments on fb from melanin challenged boomers, it’s the end of civilization as we know it. I liked it. The following was a letter to the editor in the Fargo newspaper. Yeah, this guy is clueless (I could not get it to link so I will type out the headline and short letter.) Headline: Racist Super Bowl Halftime Show Said It All Text: "NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said that the NFL will not tolerate racism. But judging by the actions of the NFL when it comes to the Black national anthem, the Super Bowl halftime show, the NFL is racists .... against white people, America and their attack on police in America. That Super Bowl halftime show said it all. Goodell must have hired anti-white, anti-American, anti-police Colin Kaepernick as his top advisor."

For Andi's benefit, are "old ass white people" only those who are between the ages of 57 to 75?

I feel clueless. WTF did the letter writer mean by, "Black national anthem"? I'm guessing it's being called that because the lady who sang it is black. Just my guess though.

I missed that, it's quite nice. I think we started watching right during the national anthem.

Guess it makes sense they have their own anthem because McConnell made sure everyone knows they aren't real Americans. Did aliens put something in our water supply?

What does the letter writer think of the Black players? My guess, good if they are on his team and they won. Bad in all other cases.

Did aliens put something in our water supply? this song is way older than McConnell's reign. Nothing is older than.McConnell😉 What I meant was of course a fellow conservative would call it the black national anthem since their leader in the senate doesn't even consider black people to be Americans. There is no such thing as inclusive in that party.
