I know this intrigues you to no end, but didn't seem to when it was Trump's polling numbers. Many of us are more concerned about making it through the pandemic than current poll numbers. I am not happy with inflation, but its expected given the pandemic. I don't want Trump and Bannon to get another shot at destroying America and ending the American experiment as some conservatives like to phrase it. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/biden-has-higher-approval-than-trump-at-same-point-in-wh-tenure-despite-rapid-drop/ar-AAQHtJ4?ocid=uxbndlbingAlthough President Joe Biden has seen his approval rating decline by double digits since the outset of his presidency, his numbers still remain higher than where former President Donald Trump stood with the American public at the same period during his White House tenure. There was no pandemic in November of 2017. Were you panicking then? I don't think so, but I don't keep track of such things. What would you be saying if Trump were in charge? What would or could he do to change things?

Never this low. And the trump Christian cult members just adore him as much as they do Jesus. Probably even more.

There are many lows to choose from. Here's a recent one. Former Gov. Chris Christie writes in a new book that he and others were extremely worried when he was hospitalized with COVID-19 after he contracted the illness while at the Trump White House.
Christie says his priest arrived in the hospital and rubbed oils on his forehead in the sign of the cross and prayed over him, according to a report in The New York Times.
Trump, who was hospitalized with the virus himself, apparently had only one concern, according to Christie. “Are you gonna say you got it from me?” Trump asked him in phone call to the hospital.www.nj.com/politics/2021/11/priests-prayed-over-christie-when-he-was-hospitalized-for-covid-ex-gov-writes-in-new-book.htmlChristie is a politician. While his book does say somethings against Trump, he also apparently says he doesn't blame Trump for Jan. 6th, so I remember Christie is great at hedging and picking his battles. Trump in his worry didn't know what I know, Christie would not have blamed Trump even if he thought he was partially responsible.

Trump-backed Pennsylvania Senate candidate Sean Parnell, accused of abuse, suspends his campaign after losing custody of kidsv The Pennsylvania Senate race "remains a top priority for Pres. Trump & the '22 MAGA Map—rallying our movement behind the best America 1st candidate remains critical," wrote Budowich. Despite Republicans having lost the White House, the House and the Senate under his watch, Trump has emerged as the party's undisputed kingmaker in the 2022 midterms. But the implosion of Parnell's campaign underscores the potential peril, for Trump and the Republican Party, of his willingness to overlook serious allegations against his preferred candidates. For Trump, what appears to matter most is whether candidates publicly embrace his fraudulent claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. This adherence to Trump's lies about the election has emerged as the primary litmus test for candidates seeking the former president's influential endorsement. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-backed-pennsylvania-senate-candidate-sean-parnell-accused-of-abuse-suspends-his-campaign-after-losing-custody-of-kids/ar-AAR0O4s?ocid=msedgntpWell, he only picks the best, right?

he's been at 43% approval since October 29th. if you (or MSN) are arguing with me, you are cherry picking polls.

McConnell knows he can’t put forward an agenda the whole party will support. The far righties will only want to push their whack a do agenda and will find every opportunity to get their faces in front of a camera to bray about it.

Even more importantly is they don't have an agenda the majority of voters will support.

“A lot of Republicans say the most important fight right now is against the Democrats,” the Ohio Senate contender and former state treasurer said in an interview with the Washington Examiner. “I actually think the most important fight right now is for the conservative movement.” The soggy Republicans — that’s one side of the party,” he said. “I don’t think the party should be going that direction. I want to go to Washington to be reinforcements for anti-establishment fighters.” Which Republicans meet Mandel’s standard? Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, and especially former President Donald Trump.“There is no one in this race that has a natural grassroots army of ideological grassroots Christian conservatives like me. My opponents might have a lot of elephant pins, but we have Christian activists who want to take their country back,” Mandel said. “All of the other candidates in the race, they’re running traditional races through traditional Republican Party groups,” he added. “I’m running a totally different race.” www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/to-josh-mandel-squishy-rinos-bigger-problem-than-biden-and-the-democrats/ar-AARw8ad?ocid=msedgntpI wonder how he even says these things with a straight face.

So, how many seats in the House are now listed as being vulnerable for the democrats? 20? 30? I believe the Senate could lose two democratic seats next year, although one is enough for me.

and 42.3% on December 1st is the answer to your question on November 15th. he now stands at 44%, a 2 month high.

DJ, How many democrats have announced they are not running in 2022? I guess the question should be of all the democrats not running, how many of those districts are safe for the democrat who will be on the ballot for that seat?

I see Democrats losing two seats in the Senate and 32 in the House. Senate: Georgia and Arizona losses wouldn’t be shocking but Pennsylvania and/or Wisconsin could go the other way to change the net gain. House is a tougher call before the primaries play out but 32 is certainly historically reasonable.

How is it time for 2022 already….. The individual off year state races as well as the Federal Senate seats up for re-election and the House seats. Primaries are starting this spring. Lots of donor money already flying around for these races for both the parties.

Trump picks candidates based on how well they kiss his ass. So he ends up supporting Picks like Hershel Walker who claims he has multiple personalities and multiple run ins with the law for violent crimes, including domestic violence. Not surprised McConnell prefers less colorful candidates- unfortunately the MAGA voters will want the goofballs.
