Prosecutors on the 'verge of subpoenaing Trump', ex-DOJ official saysFormer President Donald Trump is facing potential 'criminal exposure' in Georgia and two grand juries could be getting close to issuing subpoenas for information, in the latest chapter in Trump's legal woes. Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis is probing Trump's alleged interference in the state's election, where state officials certified Joe Biden's win. The DailyBeast reported two separate grand juries are investigating there, and that the secret proceedings would soon issue subpoenas. Complete article here: link . It makes me happy that the two people who caused the most problems for Trump in Georgia are two black women - Stacy Abrams and Fani Willis. There is something poetic about them taking on the White Supremists BFF.

Interesting. I read an article about his business practices that said he never writes things down and never tells a flunky to do something directly - just like the mob. That way later there’s no paperwork to hang him and he can always claim he never ‘exactly’ said to do whatever illegal thing was done. Sounds exactly like what he’s claiming here. I guess you go bankrupt a few times you get good at this kind of thing. Where Trump can get in legal trouble is if he greatly inflated the value of his property in order to exaggerate his net worth in order to get loans from a bank while at the same time greatly reducing the true value of his properties when it comes to paying taxes. I’m sure that kind of things go on in the real estate market all the time, but I’m willing to bet the span between the exaggerated low value and the exaggerated inflated value is way more than the normal cheat. I guess we’ll all be finding out.

I guess we’ll all be finding out. Out here in King county, where I have done a tax appeal on three different properties, it’s not easy to get values down. The last two were a three appeal process. These were multi/family so I used the cap rate for each location and the actual net income from my tax returns to value the buildings. This creates an approximate market value, what someone would ostensibly pay. They kicked my ass at all three appeals. Although one had already received a 9% reduction on the first appeal it was still $150k above the cap rate value. Interesting though is the assessment for the next year came down on both to just a bit more than I had showed them. I surmised that the year in question was after the 2007-08 crash and they needed the money too badly to lower.

Here is the Trump way - guaranteed to work splendidly. Till you get caught. Maybe don’t run for president so you don’t get caught. Get your daughters to make a fake contractors warehouse. Write checks to them for upgrades to your properties - pay for painting it top to bottom, all new bathroom fixtures, windows, siding, whatever, pay your kids but don’t have them do any of the work. When you want to show how the property value had gone up, pull out all the fake receipts from your kids fake company. When you want to minimize the value, bring someone in to value the actual property with the twenty year old paint job and broken bathroom fixtures. It’s great. Your kids make 200 percent profit, and if you get caught, shrug and say everyone does it.

I wonder what the outcome will be. Those two police officers must be the only two officers on Sedition Day, January 6th, 2021, that didn't get hugged and kissed by trump's traitorous supporters.

No, Trump won’t sweat bullets - he’ll lie every time he opens his mouth, he can’t help himself. He’ll lie and assume that everyone will just accept what he says as the truth, and if they don’t, he can scream ‘fake news’ like he always does. It’s his lawyers that will be sweating bullets.

New investigation- west Chester county DA is subpoenaing records on the Westchester national golf club for a criminal investigation on whether Trump Org tried to artificially reduce its property value to pay lower taxes.
Do you think Trump Inc might have cheated on its taxes? Yes, I know, I’m laughing as I type this. What a silly question.

A judge just handed Trump a major loss in the DC attorney general's lawsuit over inauguration funds as the case heads to trialA Washington, DC judge reinstated the Trump Organization as a defendant in a lawsuit brought by the district's attorney general over whether former President Donald Trump misused funds for his 2017 inauguration — reversing an earlier decision and handing a major loss to Trump as the case heads to trial. DC Attorney General Karl A. Racine filed the civil lawsuit in January 2020. He accused the Trump Organization, the Trump International Hotel in DC, and Trump's 2017 presidential inaugural committee, which is a tax-exempt nonprofit, of using tax-free funds to improperly pay the Trump Organization and members of the Trump family. In November, DC Superior Court Judge José M. López cleaved the Trump Organization off the case, ruling that Racine's office didn't bring enough evidence to establish the company may have broken the law. Racine filed a motion for reconsideration later that month. On December 31, the case was transferred to a different judge, Yvonne Williams, who ruled Wednesday night that the Trump Organization should remain in the case after all. She pointed out in her ruling that Gentry Beach, a man who the attorney general's office says was acting on behalf of the Trump Organization, appeared to conflate the company and the inaugural committee when booking a block of hotel rooms. "The contract involved a large block of rooms booked for people affiliated with the Trump Organization at the Loews Madison Hotel during the week of the 2017 Inauguration," Williams wrote. "Mr. Beach signed the contract on behalf of the Trump Organization and listed Lindsay Santoro, Mr. Donald Trump Jr.'s personal assistant, as the point of contact for the rooms." Lawyers for the Trump Organization argued that the attorney general's office failed to collect any testimony from Beach. But Williams wrote that López erroneously ruled in their favor without first considering whether Racine should be able to issue a subpoena to depose Beach. Meanwhile... Trump's longtime accountants cut him off Monday, saying his financial declarations were unreliable.
It also said it hadn't received information about an apartment owned by Trump Org. security chief Matthew Calamari Jr.
He was asked to testify in the Manhattan DA's investigation into whether Trump Org. gave tax-free perks.
The accounting firm Mazars USA said the Trump Organization dragged its feet in providing tax information about an apartment owned by Matthew Calamari Jr., the company's security chief.
The detail was mentioned in a letter from Mazars USA, former President Donald Trump's longtime accountants, that said it would no longer do business with the Trump Organization and that ten years of his financial statements were unreliable.
The letter was filed as part of New York Attorney General Letitia James' investigation into possible financial malpractice at the Trump Organization. The Manhattan district attorney's office is conducting a parallel criminal inquiry into possible tax fraud at the company.

I’m interested in the inauguration fund theft because his kids have their fingers all over that. I would love for the Trump family to actually face some personal responsibility for some of their gifting.
Also pissed that they so eagerly threw the event planner under the bus. For her sake, I hope she gets fully exonerated.
And she was supposedly one of Melanias best friends. I don’t know how anyone is willing to get close to the Trumps when it appears to be so easy to wind up holding the bag.

And today, Biden released a bunch more documents to the January 6th committee over Trumps whine about executive privilege.
They include records of who visited the WH in the lead up to J6, so the committee knows if the known conspirators were there.
Too bad no one explained to Trump when he took this job that executive privilege wasn’t a Monopoly Get Out of Jail card he could carry with him for the rest of his life.
