Cavity search is standard procedure when admitted to jail. I would not want to be that corrections officer…… I’m thinking the opposite - people might pay good money to harshly prod that guy’s asshole. All the while saying that he was asking for it, and prisoners just let guards grab em by the prostrate, so he should be enjoying this. "When you have a badge and nightstick, they let you do it."

I think he's going to get the max fine on each conviction and 7 days in jail. In NY, you get 1/3 of your sentence off a local jail sentence for good behavior, so that makes it 5 days. Just enough time to be put in isolation for infectious disease screening, and then a day in the general population. no, that makes 7 days. how about 7 days for each felony? that seems like a better sentence to me.

He wouldn’t ever go to Gen pop. But maybe they can do a cavity search. Cavity search is standard procedure when admitted to jail. I would not want to be that corrections officer…… yeah. hamberders.

Do they shave heads at Rikers? I know at some prisons (like South Carolina) they do, at least for men.
That would crush him. He has some weird idea that his luxurious locks are the secret to his success, both in business and with women, which is why he has gone to such lengths to try to obscure his bald noggin.
I don’t know if ball caps are allowed, either. Samson may lose his magic (not that he ever really had any).

Seems the U.S. congressman's son knows his dad and other trump supporters are bats hit crazy. I’m sure that little boy is in a world of trouble with his parents now. My emojis aren’t acting right, so just imagine a sad face here. I got distracted by the kid but then I listened to what was being said. What planet is this guy from? Equal justice for all? Fopa got preferential treatment. He was tried for and convicted of criminal acts, which for the record he committed prior to, or in advancement of, becoming POTUS. There is nothing political about the crime itself. As to " being held accountable for scoring political point" out of this situation, what exactly does he think his own punishment should be considering that is 100% what he is (trying) to do with this speech?

My favorite part was when she would walk around the set and demonstrate how the gold trim on everything was gold paint and the marble columns were actually wood painted to look like marble, as proof they weren’t wasting their donations on fancy stuff.
Of course, they lived in a gold plated estate and had separate limos to drive them the half mile from their estate to the studio.

Needs a thorough investigation. Judge in Trump hush money trial flags post claiming juror spoke about case
The judge who oversaw former President Donald Trump’s hush money criminal trial in New York made the parties aware Friday of a post to the court system’s Facebook page. In the post, a user said, "My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!” Judge Juan Merchan said the comment, now labeled as one week old, responded to a routine court system notice, posted on May 29, 2024, regarding oral arguments in the Fourth Department of the Appellate Division unrelated to this proceeding. The notification by the judge did not ask the parties to do anything but seemed intended to merely flag them. Judge in Trump hush money trial flags post claiming juror spoke about case

More info needed about it being debunked. Hannity Pushes Debunked Trump Trial Claim by ‘Professional Shitposter’Fox News host Sean Hannity has been called out for pushing a myth concerning Trump’s hush-money trial that has been debunked, claiming that the 34-time convicted former president’s trial may have been rigged. During the commentator’s show Friday night, Hannity brought up a “very bizarre, unusual” letter that Judge Juan Merchan sent to attorneys involved in the case about a May 29 social media post. The post was shared on the New York State Unified Court System Facebook page from someone who claimed to be a cousin of a juror. The person behind the post labeled himself on the social media platform as a “professional shitposter,” and Merchan did not appear to give any credibility to the post. “My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted. Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!” the post read. But despite it being debunked earlier, Hannity still ran with it. “This is, by far, a very alarming development,” Hannity said. “Was the fixing from the beginning? Is this cause for a mistrial?” However, mistrials only happen when trials are still active. Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett joined Hannity on the campaign to push the validity of the post. I can do that but Daily Beast is calling it debunked already. The article I read about it over the weekend said a ‘well known internet troll’ claimed he posted the comment and then took it down again. So my guess is the judge is trying to verify the authenticity of the comment.

Trump is apparently still in possession of a handgun in Florida. It is illegal for a felon to possess a handgun. I expect all law and order conservatives to be up in arms about a felon possessing a handgun, especially now that Hunter Biden has been found guilty over lying on his gun permit application

She is working to delay this forever. I don’t know what she thinks is going to happen. She will not be looked at favorably by history.

Supreme Court says Trump is not immune from things he did that were not in his official capacity as president.
Jack Smith is getting out the long knives.
I guess you just can’t buy a Supreme Court and expect it to stay bought anymore. 😉

The SC wimped out. Didn't tell us anything we didn't already know. They shouldn't have taken the case if they weren't going to define "core duties." This SC makes me want term limits on the judges.
We need a higher court to oversee the questionable conduct of some of these members.
