If you are over 65, you are eligible for another vaccine. Depending on how this leg goes, I plan to get one soon.

In other news... I'm hearing that people are blaming current Covid19 deaths on having been vaccinated. I've started blaming excess deaths or people who "suddenly die" or people who die from Covid19 on the most likely cause - they drank milk (or worse!!! ate white bread) as children... that shit WILL kill you. I’ve heard that one of the national funeral home chains has said that they’re getting about 20% more deaths than they expected, and only a handful of them are Covid. Nobody really knows why. If I had to guess, I would say, though psychological trauma, weight gain, isolation, substance abuse, missed preventative care, etc. are all factors. I saw a discussion on Twitter today about likely undercounting of the 60+ age group deaths attributable to Covid - many people are dying months after having recovered from Covid, but their deaths aren't being connected to the after-affects of a recent bout with Covid. Most of the posters could see the obvious connection (a relative was fit and active before Covid, rapidly went downhill after "recovering"), and could not believe doctors did not see a link. Lots of plausible explanations offered: doctors are going off longtime training (haven't added long Covid to their repertoire), doctors see older patients and automatically blame *normal* illnesses of aging (hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, dementia, etc), gaslighting, blaming vaccines instead, and my favorite - insurance issues (does long Covid related X have an insurance code? If doctors want to get paid for diagnosing/treating patients, they need a code, so use the most appropriate code that likely doesn't specifically tag COVID). Long Covid wreaks havoc with all sorts of systems, circulatory/immune/respiratory/etc, so ultimately it's not wrong to say they died of heart issues; it's just incomplete to not include that the heart issues were a downstream result of Covid in the past. Also, lots of over cancer and immunocompromised patients getting Covid, after successfully avoiding it for 3+ years, from healthcare workers who have dropped masks.

I felt it was necessary for me to see the unmasked doctor yesterday. I did request him to wear a mask. I had on a high quality mask. He had on a surgical mask and his nurse said she didn't need to wear one.
I am once again putting off all medical appoints because of no making in medical settings. It has to be an emergency before I will see a medical professional.
