How do you even get them to stay on? I never had any luck. They'd probably rub my contact lenses, anyway. Lash glue. The Kiss lash glue will have them practically bolted to your face. I'd probably get the glue all over my contacts and not even be able to see.

I had issues with red spots a couple winters ago on my legs. I'm not sure if they were ingrown spots or what. They finally got better. For me the fix was better shave gel. The Gillette stuff wasn't thick enough especially in the winter. I switched to the lotionized version of Skintimate. I was staying with a friend years ago and she didn't have shaving gel. She just used hair conditioner. Cheaper and one less bottle in the shower. Works for me and kind of leaves a lotion softness. I usually still use lotion after anyway. Solid perfume - my new thing I learned today Shaving - interesting question pink. For so many it seems to be a right of passage. I remember my friends being so excited to shave and then it was a true peer pressure situation that I fell for. Actually did it myself in 8th grade behind my mom's back bc she said I was too young. Butchered my legs AND got in big trouble AND learned what a hassle to maintain. When DD brought it up at 11 bc many friends had started doing it, I talked her thru the work involved and how it's ongoing and how as an adult I think it's unnecessary but still mostly do it. In the winter I can go weeks without but then hit a weird pain point where hair brushing in my pants legs just feels gross. Likely bias and also pointy bc I've shaved prior. Anyway my talk delayed her 6 months. But my offer was to demonstrate and to buy her an electric razor and any other supplies when she was ready. She quickly conceded that it wasn't worth it and let it grow. Hers are blond so not noticeable. This summer she's being way more consistent. I have long dark arm hair. My friends used to tease me about braiding it. I'm too low maintenance to do anything about it.

Lizard Queen, maybe using a loofah every shower would help, and letting the hair grow out for a while. If not, I'd see a dermatologist, especially as it's itchy. I started shaving my legs in junior high, just up to my knees. Hair was never dark enough to worry about higher than that. I am blond. My roommate freshmen year in college was Black, and I don't believe she shaved her legs, only her armpits. We used to laugh because I (oily-haired) washed my hair daily and used astringent to wash my face, while she put on layers of moisturizer and washed her hair every 10 days or so. Our Chinese friend didn't shave either. No need. I'm older and grew up in pantyhose. Always thought hair under hose is ugly. DD35 gets her legs waxed monthly and never wears hose, only socks and occasionally tights.

I used to shave my lower legs once a week or so. I don't have a lot of hair and it's fairly light colored. I haven't shaved them in over four years at this point. I can't bend over enough to shave them and, while DH has offered to do it for me, I don't trust him. I used cheap hair conditioner when I shaved. It was so much less expensive than shaving cream and left my legs feeling really soft.

So, I've been having problems lately with in grown hairs on my legs. I switched from a regular razor to an electric, but that didn't seem to help. Now I'm trying my facial scrub on my legs to see if that helps. I also went to the beach and got sand on them wet, and brushed it off when it dried, but I'm not going to be doing that all the time. Am I on the right track here? It is annoying, unattractive, itchy, and painful at times. Maybe I need to go full on furilla for a while, and start using nair after all the hair is freed and my legs heal up. I don't know! I use a product called Tend Skin -- dispenses with a roller ball. I rub it over the area after shaving or epilating. It stings a bit, but works so well! I haven't had an ingrown hair since I started using it.

I don't think I know a single woman who doesn't shave their legs. Me, either. I thought everyone did. I'd be pretty embarrassed if anyone could see hair on my legs and I'm blond so not as noticeable as some with darker hair. Do people shave their arms? I've never heard of such a thing. Or maybe I just never thought of it since you really can't notice much on mine? I looked to make sure, I definitely have hair on my legs lol. I also definitely will not bother shaving it off. Now I’m going to be looking at women’s legs to see if they have hair. Idk if people shave their arms. I won’t be doing that either. It seems shaving legs is something like a cultural difference or whatever. I’m mostly glad it’s not required of me, I don’t need another chore I have to do to make myself presentable to go out in public. I’ve even got lax on keeping my armpits shaved. The hair doesn’t grow back as much as it used to, and Mister doesn’t care, so I mostly only maintain it in the summer when my shoulders tend to be out.

Failure on my Ulta trip yesterday evening. I didn't bring my purse with me, so DH had to come into the store. He gave me two minutes of store time. I got the night cream since that was the one thing I absolutely needed immediately! Clinique's promo was that a $35+ purchase got a lip stick, so that's fun!

I have rarely ever shaved my legs. After 6 months, it's blond and soft. I gave up caring what other women thought about it. And it's only women who have ever noticed or commented. I just don't need one more thing to do for others' social expectations. I mean, if it matters to you and/or your SO, by all means shave. But if you are doing it for any other reason, 🤮

My hair is black and coarse. I'd look like I had man legs if I didn't shave.

Since I have to wear pants at work I rarely shave my legs anymore. I only do it in the summer if I want to wear skirts and it's once a week not every other day like in high school.
I feel gross with armpit hair. Probably psychological but it is what it is.
I shave my arms. I got a lot of harassment from 6th to 9th grade about my long arm hair. I tried stopping recently but the habit is too ingrained at this point I got massive anxiety looking at my arms.
Gwen started shaving and we've had long talks about the sexism and stupidity of it. I've admitted I'm a hypocrite about shaving because I still cave and do it.
I don't care if she does or not and I make that clear. I did teach her how to do it properly since she expressed interest because if she is going to she should not cut herself to ribbons doing it.

I have only ever shaved up to knee. When I started shaving my thighs had very fine light hair, as I grew older they became hairless. But the knee down always grew in VERY dark.
I do shave my armpits every other day. It grows so fast and feels weird to me. It is also dark and coarse. One day I will invest in laser hair removal for them.
I knew people who shaved their arms. I tried it once when I was a teen, but hated the stubble that grew back after a day or two, so never did it again.

Culture certainly plays a role but I do think the contrast between skin and hair is a factor. The only (straight) women I've ever known who didn't shave their legs were African-American. I'm very pale skinned but have dark brown body hair so it's noticeable. The one upside to that combination is it's ideal for laser hair removal . Best groupon ever!!!

Friend is from Vietnam and married a tall Caucasian guy. He’s pretty fair . They went to visit her family in vietnam and friend said every one of her relatives pulled her aside and said ‘He’s so hairy!!”
Yes cultural but also ethnic differences in body hair influence shaving

A former friend thought that DH was "gross" because back in the day he had a lot of chest hair and some back hair too. She was very particular in that her sex partners had to be hairless front and back, waxed if needed.

She was very particular in that her sex partners had to be hairless front and back, waxed if needed. Mister is the first man I’ve dated that had chest hair. He doesn’t have much on his back. None of it bothers me. He can also grow a full beard, which I love. He doesn’t let it grow big and bushy, he keeps it trimmed and short. I never knew beards were so much work until I got to know him. He keeps it because he knows I like it, but every once in a while he gets tired of fooling with it and shaves it off. I think (neat) beards or even just the 5 o’clock shadows are really sexy. The hair on my legs is dark and visible against my brown skin, but it’s not so hair much that I look furry. At least not to me lol. Either way, I’m going to keep wearing my shorts and dresses, anyone that has an issue with the hair on my legs can just not look.

The one and only good thing about aging is that I now only shave the legs (ankle to just above knee) once a month before my mani/pedi. I've found a more "discreet" swim suit so I don't have go "there" because I got really tired of the bumps after shaving. And I am way too cheap and too chicken to do the whole Brazilian wax thing for an occasional swim.

I prefer chest hair on a guy. Not that I don't appreciate an oiled up Channing Tatum but most men don't look like that hair or no hair.
I refuse to do the whole Brazilian thing. I give in on my legs sometimes and pits but the notion that a full grown woman is supposed to have no body hair besides on her head disturbs me. I do have my line in the sand when it comes to sexist beauty standards.
Adult women have body hair get over it.

Colourpop is having a Last Call sale for things being discontinued. I just got 2 eyeshadow palettes 6 bath bombs (a set, not mix and match), a foundation, a pressed setting powder, a lip liner, a gel eyeliner, and 3 single eyeshadows for $50.25 including tax and free shipping. Yas!

According to legend, the painter John Ruskin fainted on his wedding night when he discovered that women have pubic hair! The truth is a lot more complicated but the story does amuse me.

I prefer my men have minimal hair. I appreciate manscaping. I like them to be clean cut and minimal facial hair if any. I also like my men pretty. Prettier than me if possible, so keep that in mind.

I have not seen my husband's face since 2010, lol. He just looks so good with his beard! At this point if he shaved, he'd probably have 43-year-old eyes with a 32-year-old lower face.

When I was in Iceland I used the thermal pools and a shower without your swimsuit was a requirement before entering the pool. Separate male/female changing rooms and showers but no individual shower stalls. It was interesting to cast a discreet glance around- most women neatly trimmed the bikini area but no "naked Barbie Doll" looks. I did similarly. When in Reykjavik...

Obviously, my essential eye shadow color is burnt orange. I've gotten more compliments on my eyes when I wear this color than any other. It's the Urban Decay Heat palette from Target.

To each their own, but that would bother me to no end. Ms andi is hairless other than the long thick hair coming from her head. Not saying that others need to follow suit, but just my preference.
