Having sold the big lie and then inviting them to come for a “wild time” I assume he knew exactly what he was doing inciting said “wild time”.

that flabby fucker actually sees himself as a revolutionary.
the only thing he revolutionized is bad behavior on the part of leadership in the US. it is nothing to be proud of.

I heard there is something inconsistent about the cause of death. We have been told he was beat with a fire extinguisher, but I'm not sure that was accurate. If bear spray wouldn't normally kill someone, it might not be "murder" - maybe manslaughter or something??

If the shamim guy truly thinks guards were waving him into the building he needs to find video of those guards so he can trace them and sue him for all the legal shit he is currently in. Personally I think the guy walking around shirtless in January and wearing a furry horned helmet is probably not a solid witness. He probably sees a lot of unusual things that no one else can see.

Yes it is missing the "of" but my brain automatically added it when I was reading it so it made perfect sense to me.

Dads up from Florida. The influx of high powered weapons and rhetoric around the table yesterday was disturbing to say the least.

Dads up from Florida. The influx of high powered weapons and rhetoric around the table yesterday was disturbing to say the least. 😔 I'm sorry to hear that. My family wants to get Christianity into schools and wants vouchers available for church-run schools. They think we all look "dumb" wearing masks and unions are from the devil. But at least they aren't brave enough or gritty enough to take up arms.

I heard a news blurb over the weekend that the charges will include sedition, which I’m guessing will include significant time. As it should.

You can't learn it until you touch it - or in this case, it touches you... My family is wearing masks - they are just being pooh-pooh heads about it. That is my people's way - follow the rules, but complain bitterly about the ones you don't like.

'Radicalized by hate': Suspect in officer Sicknick assault jailed pending trial, new Capitol riot videos show chemical sprayA West Virginia man accused of assaulting Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, who died after the Jan. 6 riot, was ordered jailed pending trial after a contentious court hearing where prosecutors presented video clips showing the officer and two other colleagues being doused with chemical spray and struggling to recover. Describing the video as "surreal" U.S. Magistrate Michael Aloi said that he was "very satisfied with the government's evidence" against George Pierre Tanios, a 39-year-old restaurant owner from Morgantown. Tanios, who is charged with Julian Elie Khater, 32, of Pennsylvania, faces decades in prison if convicted on 10 criminal counts, including conspiring with Khater to attack officers with chemical repellent during the deadly siege. Neither suspect is charged with Sicknick's death. Complete article here: link

Oldcoyote was a proud member of Oath Keepers. Even posted a picture here once of himself wearing an Oath Keeper tee-shirt while cradling an AR-15 style rifle in his arms. Justice Dept. Said to Be Weighing Sedition Charges Against Oath KeepersWASHINGTON — Justice Department officials have reviewed potential sedition charges against members of the Oath Keepers militia group who attacked the Capitol on Jan. 6, and they have been weighing whether to file them for weeks, according to law enforcement officials briefed on the deliberations. The group members, including Thomas E. Caldwell, Jessica M. Watkins and Donovan Crowl, were indicted last month on charges of conspiring to obstruct Congress’s ability to certify the Electoral College victory of Joseph R. Biden Jr., then the president-elect. The Justice Department has rarely brought charges of sedition, the crime of conspiring to overthrow the government, and has not successfully prosecuted such a case in more than 20 years. The decision about how to move forward has languished while Justice Department leaders go through the Senate confirmation process. The new attorney general, Merrick B. Garland, was sworn in on March 11 and is likely to have final say over such a high-profile case. Complete article here: link

Trump, taking the cue, denounced federal authorities for charging his supporters with crimes. “They go after that, I guess you’d call them leaning toward the right … those people, they’re arresting them by the dozens,” he complained. Trump launched into a defense of the riot. “It was zero threat, right from the start, it was zero threat. They’re hugging and kissing the police and the guards,” he insisted about the violent clash.Trump proceeded to portray the prosecution of the insurrectionists as a witch hunt against his movement. “They’re doing things, they’re persecuting a lot of those people,” he complained. Using his customary formulation — the crimes are on the other side — he launched into a tangent about the alleged failure to prosecute antifa, before returning to his true complaint: “… and yet I’m constantly seeing they’re searching out people on the right.” The mainstream of the Republican Party has adopted Trump’s message about this: They are good people, their activity was noble, and they deserve impunity from the law. www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/trump-complains-government-is-persecuting-capitol-rioters/ar-BB1f051U?ocid=msedgntpJust a few words from the law and order President.

I get nauseous just watching it. And knowing his fellow citizens were the ones doing that to him....

There are literally thousands of hours of video showing this is a complete lie. The guards did not wave the terrorists into the building. The terrorists did a significant amount of damage to the property, and the guards. It’s all there, captured on film. Trump has attained a level of snake oil salesman that I didn’t think was possible - telling people what they see with their own eyes is completely false. The gullibility of the Trump toady is extraordinary.

My guess is he's pandering to the people arrested and their supporters. He did not believe what he is saying enough to actually pardon them, but apparently now is a good time for him to get his public planned lie out there.

But he has done interviews since the attempted coup.
