I can't vote for Biden if he chooses Bass...just no way. Way too far from my beliefs to have someone like her one heart-beat from being President. I would hold my nose & vote for him if he chooses Rice. She is intelligent & has ethics IMHO, but I still don't like the investment part. Can I ask why? I just want to learn more.

a second term will likely end America as we know it.
I have heard this about every president since I cast my first vote in 1964. Nothing new .............. again, I can't see why you are laughing. this is no laughing matter.
if you can't see how uniquely bad this situation is, then I think I am going to have to block you, sesfw. but before I do, let me say this:
I have never felt this way about a president before. I hated Bush, and thought he was a terrible president, but I never talked about him destroying the US government, and taking us down an irredeemable and irretrievable path.
as I say, I am waiting for you to give me something more productive than a ROFL. if you can do that, we can continue talking. if not, I can't think of any reason for us to interact any further.
actually, i have to correct myself, slightly.
i DID feel this way about his torture policy. but eventually, even Bush admitted that the policy was wrong. i can't remember whether he admitted that it did not produce any results, either, but i think he did. so, i kind of forgave him for that. i didn't forgive him for the Iraq War, but he is not the first president to submit to an ilbegotten war, and he won't be the last. in short, he is one of the worst presidents of all time- definitely bottom quartile. but had Trump come along, Bush would have only been the worst president in the last century.
Trump is so uniquely awful that our country might not survive the encounter, and he is certainly destined to occupy the lowest rank of any president if we do.

You are trying to put words into my comment that are not there. No, I do not approve of DT, never have, never will. But that doesn't mean I have to vote for Biden either. I can vote 3rd party or write in someone....but you know that & you are going to say that is a vote for DT...no it isn't. Not voting Democrat is effectively voting Republican. The only way to get this clown out of office is to vote Democrat. When is the last time you saw a third party or a write in win an election? Not voting or voting for a third party candidate increases is worth 1 point. Voting for the viable opposition is worth 2 points. Turning a voter from one party to the other increases the gap by 2 votes. Getting a new voter, or stopping a voter increases the gap by 1 vote.

I doubt that. I have been paying attention and have never heard that until now. I heard that a lot when Obama was running - he was a Muslim who would force Christians to convert, he would throw out our laws and institute Sharia law, he would let poor black inner city people move to the suburbs and kick white folks out of their homes. But I live in a rural Southern county, bright red. This time, the concern is that Trump, who has proven he has no problem both ignoring the constitution and lining his own pockets with taxpayer money, would become completely off the leash if he wins re-election and no longer has to pretend to be a Christian to appease the evangelicals, or 'a working man's best friend' to appease his blue collar base. It will be all Trump Inc and his billionaire buddies 100% of the time, and fuck the rest of us, our allies, and all subsequent generations. And all my bright red neighbors are perfectly blind to that possibility. Kenya isn't even a Muslim country. People are SO FUCKING STUPID. I've disliked a lot of presidential policies and ideologies- but I never accused any president of not caring about the US. Sure, I didn't think what they were doing was the right thing for the country, but they did, and I respect that. I truly believe that Trump doesn't care about the US or the people who live in it. He just cares about himself and his desires.
