We're watching Bosch on Prime, and it's pretty good. I think we're on season 2. I'm a fan of MichelConnelly's books. I love the books and have been reading them for years . I actually didn’t want to watch the series at first cuz I didn’t want to be disappointed. I’ve watched all seasons so far and really like Titus Welliver as Bosch . Even though when I first started reading the series , I pictured Harry Dean Stanton as Bosch in my head .

Just watched the NightStalker docuseries on Netflix . It was very good . I was a senior in HS when it was happening and it was very scary to live in the area then .

I finally finished The Queen's Gambit" Wonderful, short complete series. Not going to give anything away, but one of the things I was impressed about the series is that the various actresses that played the lead were so seamless that I missed when then switched from a younger actress to an older actress Recommend it to all.

Queens Gambit was kind of an interesting show because I wouldn't say it was all that interesting, but I found myself excited to watch the next episode for some reason.

Yes, it wasn't completely engaging like 'this is us' where I can't wait til next week. It was more like, huh I have no idea where this is going and how this character might develop.

I started watching Alone on Hulu. I would not make it 2 hours out in the wilderness by myself.

We watched Alone at the beginning of covid. Then, I found it was too much when I was already isolated.

I love Alone! I think if I just stayed in one place and did not move I could at least survive one night, lol.

Watched The Dig on Netflix. Pretty good. About the archeological find of a 95-foot-long early Anglo-Saxon ship and its artifacts buried on an English landowners property.

I always liked history and loved when we studied Sutton Hoo in school. I also did a lot of googling to see what the people looked like in real life. Edith Pretty was 47 when she had her only child. Some people think that's just wonderful (I'm sure she did) but as a 47 year-old woman, I find that terrifying!

It was a shot of them working/looking at the dig then the camera slowly panned up to a partial view of the blue sky. In the sky was the remnant of a commercial jet contrail. A movie set in the very early days of WWII should not have commercial jet contrails in their scenes.

Tennesseer I didn't notice! One thing that did annoy me was the rain scenes where it was clearly not raining. I grew up in Scotland so I know my rains and it always bugs me in British films when they use fake rain. I mean, just wait a couple of days and it will start pouring naturally!

[b DH was a history nut and an majored in anthropology (worked on multiple digs) so he totally geeked out with this movie. I liked it too - the cinematography was beautiful and the acting was good.

We thought Drain the Oceans on Nat Geo was good.
Watched the movie Soul on Disney+ recently, and really enjoyed it for an animated movie.

Is Dig a documentary or movie? Oped-it's a movie. About a historically discovery but about personal frienships and relationships too.

I love Alone! I think if I just stayed in one place and did not move I could at least survive one night, lol. I finished season 3 last night. Some of those people were literally starving themselves. Yikes! I'm addicted to this show though.

I finally got around to watching Bridgerton. I have to agree with my cousin's assessment of it being a "stonking good ride".

I have not watched Bridgerton but when I saw who is hosting Saturday Night Live next Saturday the 20th of February I had to look him up. It's Regé-Jean Page of Bridgeton who is hosting next Saturday.

Watched upside down magic on Disney+ (I think). Pretty corny, but my 8 to loved it enough to want to watch it again the following night.

Started watching the OA on Netflix. This show is right up my alley. (That probably tells you how weird I am. 😂)

I watched Firefly Lane a few days ago. I really liked it. There’s only 1 season and it hasn’t been announced if there will be a 2nd season yet; however, the show only premiered earlier this month on Netflix.

I woke up at 6am today and didn't want to get out of bed, so just finished the first 3 episodes. It was a little triggering for me, but I have the feeling I'll binge the rest of it today.

I started watching this, and the shifts in time really got to me. I also read the book fist, and prefer the book. I’ll probably finish watching this while TD is at work. Kristin Hannah wrote several books that would be interesting to see on screen. I know they are filming/have filmed The Nightingale, I hope they don’t screw this one up. I watched Sarah’s Key yesterday too. I read the book when it came out. Thought the book was incredible, movie was too IMO. We started watching Dr. Foster last night. It’s a BBC series and we got through 3-4 episodes last night. First episode didn’t immediately catch me, but will probably watch more of it as I now want to see what happens.

I watched Ma Rainey's Black Bottom - it is on a list of Oscar hopefuls. It was good. Different. I liked it a lot.
I also watched the Trial of the Chicago 7 for the same reason. I have thoughts. They aren't all lovely.
