We just watched the first 5 episodes of season 3 Cobra Kai. I like the show . It’s interesting how their circumstances have flipped . But I just can’t stop thinking about how on the show How I Met Your Mother , Barney’s character always thought Daniel was the real villain , not Johnny . It does make you think about it a little differently.

I've been watching, and thoroughly enjoying, Lucifer. I didn't watch it when it was on TV or when it first moved to Netflix but I'm on a family What'sApp group and my cousins and aunts were raving about the new season. I think it is utterly ridiculous and also really really fun! It doesn't hurt that Tom Ellis gets naked fairly often .

I watched the whole series, except the last 1/2 season, 3 times.
You might say I like it. 😉

Now if he would just play the piano naked...

He doesn't play/sing nearly enough in the later seasons. He does seem to get naked more, though. Wish we could have both.

We got hbo for the month to watch wonder woman so I'm trying to watch everything on that before the month is up, without watching any of their originals and getting sucked into another $14.99 per month. So far though I'm just watching their dc movies and batwoman commercial free.

84 wasn’t nearly as good as the first ww and the villain was such a caricature. Wasn’t the worst DC though either. It had some good stuff. Nice to see a ‘new movie’ too.

We got CBS All Access and are watching Lower Decks and Picard.
Unfortunately, we also got access to The Love Boat, so my husband keeps playing just the theme song to piss me off.

If you like out there stories. Uncanny Counters is a fun series to watch. It has 16 episodes. Only 8 out so far. It is a Korean drama on Netflix. Kind of a super hero - serial killer theme. I'm enjoying Uncanny Counters. It started out as a High School kid with super powers (and I thought it might stay in the High School setting with only High School kids in the cast) and then it moved into a more balanced setting with adults. I like all the main characters and I like what's at stake for the Counters - especially Mun. It's a bit like live action anime. I think I need to see if there's a dubbed version - I'm watching it in Korean with English subtitles. I'm more use to Japanese with English subtitles. My brain is trying to get the cadence of Korean down. I can't pick out any words or phrases. And I'm having trouble with the spoken character names (and the honorifics or how names are used to show social info about the character). ::sigh:: I tried watching Cobra Kai but I spent the first two episodes groaning and squirming in discomfort from all the cliches. I keep hearing it's good. Maybe I'll give it another go.

Finished the latest season of Cobra Kai. The last couple episodes were cringey. Johnny is still my favorite. Not perfect, but real and a little funny.

I finished season 3 of Cobra Kai. Geez, those are some super angry young people. I did like the very end of the season though.

Barry was good. Not a redeeming character in the bunch but I kept watching. I'd like to watch Titans but its one that seems to require my full attention which isn't my strong suit lately. We'll see if I can manage it. Warehouse 13 is free with ads on Prime. That was one I enjoyed.

We just finished the first three "seasons" of CB Strike - it's just a few episodes for each book in the Cormoran Strike series (by Robert Galbraith - JK Rowling psuedonym).
I thought it was well done.
Season 4 comes to HBO Max on January 20th - woo!
And I just finished reading book 5, so January is the month of Strike, I guess.
Edit: CB Strike is on Hulu

I watched the movie Bombshell on Prime last night. Good Lord...
Then I watched Athlete A on Netflix.
No wonder I didn't sleep well...

I did free trials for both of them - Cinemax only had a 7-day free trial, but we finished the series easily in three nights because we didn't want to stop!

We don't have Hulu and I can't justify another subscription! I really like the books so want to watch the series. I never read Harry Potter and my girls have flat out refused to read those books so the Strike series was my first time reading JK Rowling. She really is a good writer.

I did the free Hulu subscription for 30 days and the free Cinemax subscription for 7 days in order to watch, and then cancelled them both! haha After the latest episodes air on HBO Max, I'm cancelling that as well.

We're watching Bosch on Prime, and it's pretty good. I think we're on season 2. I'm a fan of MichelConnelly's books.
