When we got to the end of the episodes, it seemed like it had wrapped up. So who knows? There were other characters that could be brought up front.

I also Binge Watched the series this weekend. There are eight books in Julia Quinn's Bridgerton Series. They obviously set up the romance between Penelope Fetherington and Colin Bridgerton for season two. I have re-loaded my Noon library (Barnes and Noble) and charged up my Nook that I apparently have not used since 2012. I have one novel in the series in that library - It's in Hiss Kiss (Bridgerton Series #7 Hyacinth Bridgerton and Gareth St. Clair (this book was not at the end when I loaded it up, and I don't remember...so I may have never finished it. In my Kindle Library I only have several Prequels, so apparently I read the Bridgerton Series before I owned an e-reader. I used to have my favorite paperbacks stored in my basement, but I have donated them all to the Library or Goodwill and decided I could borrow them back from the library if I ever wanted to re-read them. I am sure I will have a long wait if I try to do that. Best Laid Plans and all that. I am in love with Rege Jean-Page. Mmm. I guess the scandal/question is if there will be a gay romance relationship between Benedict Bridgerton and a Portrait artist - set up in season 1. It seems to me that he was depicted as Bi-Sexual in the books and ended up married to a woman, but I could be confusing this series with another, and they don't have to be true to the books anyways. metro.co.uk/2020/12/29/bridgerton-fans-demand-more-gay-sex-and-accuse-netflix-of-queerbaiting-13818503/?ico=related-postsI enjoyed the netflix depiction, but still prefer to read a book. The Bridgerton Books were written from 2000-2006 Next I have to binge watch Season Two of Robyn Carr's Virgin River Series. There are quite a few books in that series too. Looks like 19 books written from 2007 to 2012. I have read most of them, not sure if I missed one here and there.

Oh maybe I'll just read them then. I tend to do better with drama if I can read it because I read faster, lol. but even then have issue with 'ongoing drama'...

Yes, but it is worth watching the Bridgerton series the casting is wonderful and you will "enjoy" the view. It is pretty steamy - I wasn't sure I would want to watch with my kids in the room.

Is this [Greenleaf] the one which takes place here in Memphis? If yes, did the below show up in the series? Yes, that's the one but that statue, fortunately, never appears.

We’ve been watching Chicago P.D. Lately on Prime, but now it’s being pulled and we’re only halfway through the seasons. Now I need to see if I can find it on Netflix or Hulu. Hopefully one of them will have it.

Chicago PD is also on the free channels if you get those. I think ION and one more channel locally.

I haven't watch "Queen's Gambit" Maybe it has already been talked about on this thread. Is it a good watch? I'm not even going to try to watch "Cobra Kai", the original show made me hate him (the character) enough that I don't want to watch him anymore. lol

Queen's Gambit... I've heard its amazing. I read the book long ago. I'm waiting for husband to watch that together.
The thing is Cobra Kai will make you hate Johnny a whole lot less... in fact, one might even find themselves on team Johnny... its possible. I watched the first season and a half in one sitting. Waiting for 3 to be out to do it again...

Watched The Prom on Netflix the other night. Not bad. I liked it a lot. It probably isn't the greatest musical / movie / plot. But as far as turning stage production into Hollywood movies, it may have been the best one in modern history. They always seem to find the star they want, even if their singing and/or dancing sucks. Specifically - Pierce Bronson in Mamma Mia and Richard Gere in Chicago. This, of course, excludes Hamilton - which was just a (very well done) video of the stage show.

I thought it was a fabulous redemption story that avoided being cheesy, which is pretty much unheard of. The rest of the show was pretty cheesy, just not the redemption part of it.

I’m so excited for In The Heights this year... Which will be on HBO Max not netflix but fits under musicals.

If you like out there stories. Uncanny Counters is a fun series to watch. It has 16 episodes. Only 8 out so far. It is a Korean drama on Netflix. Kind of a super hero - serial killer theme.

If you liked Karate Kid, it's a nice trip down memory lane. I watched both seasons in one weekend I think.

I watched the first episode of Bridgerton last night. I was a little bored, but I will give it another try. I think I may just be getting burned out on TV right now. I need to go get some more books. I've read everything in the house. I'm now reading my kindle but I am one of those odd balls that still prefers actual books.
I watched Manhunt: Deadly Games and Manhunt: Unabomber. Both were really good.
I also watched A Teacher on Hulu. I'm still not sure how I feel about it...a little disturbed, I guess.

Skipped episode 6 because I wanted to get over watching it so I went straight to 7. It's good and has a satisfactory ending. It could have been shorter like 4 episodes. Have you happened to watch Unorthodox on Netflix? Excellent. Also watch Forgotten on Netflix. A South Korean film. Pretty good.

The new season of kobra kai is out. Its still really trope-y, but they are so good at developing the villains. I love it-- no one 100% good or bad or unredeemable.

I watched 7 episodes of the third season of Cobra Kai yesterday - I really enjoy that show, and they are much better at tying in the movie throwbacks these days - they aren't so heavy-handed when cutting to a movie season.
Can't wait to finish it today!
I also started season 1 of Atypical, which I am enjoying, though it mirrors some of my own thoughts and feelings too well.

I love Atypical. Have worked with many kids on the spectrum through the years and I think they do a quality job presenting it.
