My husband and I started watching Cobra Kai without the kids. I'm glad we didn't have the kids watch because of the sexual talk. I know it's mild, but I'm not interested in explaining blow jobs to a 8 and 10 year old.
It's entertaining enough to keep watching, but so corny how it plays off the movies. I'm not sure I can take the corniness for all the seasons.

DH and I just started watching Another Life. It's pretty good so far. I just read that it's been picked up for a second season.

Currently watching The Queens Gambit.
I believe The Crown is coming back soon. Looking forward to that one.
Lots of Christmas movies coming out to watch over the next few weeks.
I have binge watched WAY too many episodes of Hoarders on Hulu. That's some crazy shit...

One of those that I couldn't decide if I liked it but was intrigued enough to keep going. The mindset of a chess player was fascinating.

My kids are watching Santa Claws over and over again. It's about cats that take over for Santa, because he falls down because he's allergic to them? I don't know. It's on the kids version of Netflix.

Great Christmas movie I'll have to check that out! We just started watching Percy Jackson on Disney+, I think. So far, it's good.

I binged the fourth season of The Crown. I expected the Charles and Diana story arc to be the most interesting but, in actuality, the most fascinating was the Queen vs. Mrs. Thatcher. Gillian Anderson's portrayal was outstanding.

Gillian Anderson's portrayal was outstanding. Ah - that's why I thought I knew the actress. I couldn't place her and was too tired to read credits after two episodes. Philip taking Diana hunting creeped me out a little in a leery old man kinda way. I finished the Home Edit and wish there were more. It was easy watching and slightly motivating. Not very YM to spend all that dough on clear containers though. Switching between Kon Marie and Tiny house nation.

Just started the 4th season of The Crown. I must admit, the actress playing Diana has her mannerisms down pat.

Gillian Anderson's portrayal was outstanding. Maybe it is because I have heard and seen the Diana story so....many....times.... And Diana is so perfect and everyone else so wretched.... I'm kinda over it. I am looking forward to the IRA and the Thatcher parts.

I'm kinda over it. I am looking forward to the IRA and the Thatcher parts. That's what was so good about this portrayal. She wasn't perfect; she was a complex human being trapped in a bad marriage. What was interesting was watching Charles spiral and become almost frantic in his desire to leave. I pitied both of them.

Every time the royal family attemps to control who someone ends up with things go all kinds of wrong. I still feel bad that princess Margaret was not allowed to marry the man she wanted. And I am loving the whole Thatcher storyline already.

I have to say there is nothing even remotely appealing to me about Prince Charles.

I think it brings home the understanding that desperately unhappy people behave badly. One of the weirdest things is that growing up in the UK you feel like you know these people. In public Prince Charles was always very polite but just seemed tense and not a happy person. In the last 15 years or so there's been a remarkable change. He's visibly more relaxed and has an obvious enjoyment of life. That transformation came about with his marriage. He's obviously a person that is capable of being a loving husband. Sadly, with Diana dying so young she (and we) never got the opportunity to see if she could find contentment.

Next week beginning Monday, FX has a remake as a three-part mini-series of the classic movie Black Narcissus. I read it will also air on Hulu immediately after it airs on FX.

Currently watching the first Percy Jackson movie on Disney+ with the kids. It's taking forever because they only decide they want to watch something with us when it's their bedtime.

Clearly his genetics would slate him for a long life, but, ya never know. He is already in his 70's. One good heart attack and we skip straight to Wills.

The Duke of Edinburgh will be 100 next year so if the Queen died tomorrow it's not out of the realm of possibility that Charles (I think he's going to be Georgia VII) could reign for 30 years!

Watched a pretty good mystery/thriller from South Korea the other night. Name of the movie was Forgotten. English subtitles. You have to pay attention.

I just finished "Greenleaf" last week- absolutely loved it. Oprah Winfrey is the Executive Producer and has a recurring role. It's about a black megachurch run by a powerful family with a ton of skeletons in their closets, all of which emerge over time. Somehow they manage to tie up al the loose ends by the last show of the fifth season.
