Don't get me wrong, I thought breaking bad was great. I loved the first season. After realizing I hated every character in it in the second season, I realized I didn't want to continue watching it. I watch TV for entertainment, and an escape. That was not it for me. I never really got into the office, but the afterlife show started getting an office-like vibe. It was sad, but sort of a comedy. I did learn some new British slang, so that was cool. I fell in love with Jesse! When my daughter was telling me about the show, to get me to watch, I was no way watching a show about junkies. Who knew I'd fall in love. Lol Poor Jessie. I liked him too even though he was too stupid to live from time to time. I still need to watch the movie on Netflix about what happens to Jesssie. I think it is called El Camino...

After reading about Wisconsin Beth having Chinese for lunch, it was all I could think of when my husband asked me what I wanted for dinner. This is our first restaurant meal, other than McDonald's 2 weeks ago, since March. My YDS asked about chopsticks, and I found some we had. (We don't usually use them.) We ate out on the deck, and my older son, who took to using chopsticks right away, said something about catching a fly with his chopsticks, and I'm like, lightbulb!
Guess what's streaming on Netflix! 😁

Dark is fantastic! But it is rather dark, so there's that.... I just finished Dark. I loved it! Is the show just called 'Dark' or is there more to the title.

Orange is the New Black Nurse Jackie Weeds We also like Modern Family. Dunno if Will and Grace is on Netflix. But, that is a good light hearted one. Plus we are exhausted these days, so 22 minutes of tv is more palatable than 44. Will & Grace is either on Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu. Those are the only three streaming services we have, and DD has been watching it.

The problem is I never know which streaming service we're on. We have Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. Hulu comes with our Sprint account; we use one of our children's Disney account. During the shut down, we've been watching ~Sherlock (Cumberbatch/Freeman) ~The Durrells ~Seinfeld ~Fuller House ~All of the Star Wars movies ~All of the Marvel movies ~West Wing (we own seasons 1 - 3 on DVD though, so that's not new for us, LOL!) ~Parks & Rec ~We have a list of 80s movies we're working through

I agree, it's really hard to keep them straight. That's why I asked about Netflix specifically. And Sherlock--we watched that too! Loved it. Also Legion. I think that was on Netflix.

If you liked Unorthodox this is 1000 times better. I watched it because Netflix recommended it after Unorthodox. Let me know what you think once you watch it.

My DD and I like Nailed It.
DH and I have been watching NCIS lately.
I also like Gilmore Girls and Grey’s Anatomy, but I’ve watched them so much that I haven’t in a while now. I’ve also watched and liked Dead To Me, The Ranch, Grace & Frankie, and Fuller House.

Also, Santa Clarita Diet and Hollywood. Watched the first couple episodes of Hollywood. Then stopped. Some of the characters were just too mean spirited. I get that that is part of the story. It also didn't help that Jim Parsons plays an asshole in the series. I associate him too much with his BBT role. My problem.

I've watched or am currently watching shows already mentioned, and my brain is so crammed with streaming tv that I can't pick anything to mention, but I will say that The Golden Girls has really held up and is still awesome.

Another good one is Designing Women. It is streaming on Hulu. Julia Sugarbaker still remains one of my all time favorite characters.

Many times I was making mental notes to myself. Yeah, I'm on episode 3 or 4 now and have the general gist of it, but I was in the middle of a chicks hatching crisis and was not focused at all. I think I'll just start over when I have no distractions.

I tried Dark and it's too scary for me. Lol. I could tell by the music in the first scene, but I tried to stick it out because everyone says it's so good. About half way through the 2nd episode I decided it was best to just walk away.

My boys liked the first karate kid movie. We just finished the second half tonight. I like to find movies like this that I can share with them from when I was a kid, especially when they can see the origin of things like, "wax on/wax off". It's weird to go back and see these movies after all these years. Writing/production styles are so different these days.

Let me know what you think once you watch it. Watched the first two episodes of Shtisel. Not bad. Not sure I can watch it for another 22 hours of the series though. Spotted her immediately in Shtisel: the female lead of Unorthodox. A few years younger but was easily recognizable.

I was sad when I finished the last episode. They are working on a third season, apparently.

One of my favorite comic series ever. They did a good job with it on tv.
